The South Health Campus Community Health & Wellness Expo is a family oriented event which features exhibitors promoting health and wellness in our community and a Campus Run & Recreation Challenge. Community residents can participate in demonstrations, classes, speaker sessions and interaction with industry professionals to gain awareness of holistic healthy living programs, services, and resources available in and around our community. The Campus Run & Recreation Challenge is a fundraiser supporting programs, equipment, research & education at South Health Campus to ensure the very best care is continually delivered in our community. Teams will participate in a Fun Run/Walk and various recreational challenges. Be part of a healthier future! Support South Health Campus. Raise money for research, programs, innovative equipment or educational opportunities. Every dollar raised will support the South Health Campus priority of your choice. Win prizes and bragging rights as the first ever Campus Run & Recreation Challenge Champion. Event Dates Campus Run & Recreation Challenge Campus Run & Recreation Challenges will run September 4 6, 2014. The 5k and 10k Fun Runs and 5k Walk will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Sign-up for Challenges Participants have the opportunity to sign up for various challenges in advance. Full challenge details and Challenge Sign-up form can be found online at www.calgaryhealthtrust.ca/shcexpo. Registration Fee Registration Fee & Dates There is a $10 registration fee for the Campus Run & Recreation Challenge. Your registration includes entry into the Run/Walk and Recreation Challenges of your choice, a lunch ticket for September 6 th, a raffle entry and a Campus Run & Recreation Challenge T-shirt. Registration Dates General Registration is now open! To choose your Recreation Challenges complete the sign-up form at http://calgaryhealthtrust.ca/shcexpo. Individuals must complete their online registration before their Recreation Challenge selections can be accepted. Sign-up for team Recreation Challenges will end August 15 th. Late registrations will be accepted until 4:00 pm Friday, September 5, 2014. Late registrants will have the opportunity to participate in the Campus Run. Lunch tickets and T-shirts will be subject to availability. Children s Activities & Registration Children activities will be available Saturday September 6 th. All children s activities will be drop-in only. Registration is free for children 13 and under. Registration includes a lunch ticket and personalized participation certificate for each child. Fundraising Information Fundraising Tools Online Fundraising Pages - Each team page and personal fundraising page has a Donate Now button. You can direct people to your page by sending out your friendly URL via email and social media. Each donation made online will receive an e-tax receipt and show on your fundraising page s thermometer immediately. Pledge Forms Collect cash and cheque donations using a pledge form. Pledge forms and donations can be dropped off in person at the Calgary Health Trust, South Health Campus site office or left in the secure drop box to the right of the monitor. Donations under $10 will only receive a tax receipt if requested by the donor. Calgary Health Trust Office at South Health Campus 110074, 4448 Front Street SE Match donations Many companies will match employee donations. Check to see if your employer will match your donations! You can literally double your fundraising efforts. Fundraising Deadlines Teams and individuals will have the opportunity to win prizes for their fundraising efforts. Donations made online or collected at the Calgary Health Trust office by 11:00 am, Saturday, September 6, 2014 will be included when calculating dollars raised and awarding prizes. Donations made or collected after 11:00 am will not be used to determine who to award prizes but will still be credited to the team/individuals fundraising goal.
