President s Message Has the summer been a blurr for anyone else? I can hardly believe it s Fall! Our Joint Picnic was a HUGE Success! Great food, great friends, great fellowship! This year we had about 60 attendees from the two groups in attendance. We had an icebreaker game that helped get some cross association mingling going in addition to presentations from both groups. Thanks to everyone that came out! Quite a number of us also attended the Fire Training Rehab at the Allen Fire Training Center. Thank you Bobette Mauck from Class 15 for getting RCFAAA invited to this! It was well worth the time spent to see just how important rehab is for our firefighters. Last week I attended the promotion ceremony for Kenneth Jacks, now a Battalion Chief over Training. I know many of you know Kenneth, so be sure to congratulate him! Cooler weather is on its way to us, so watch for upcoming announcements about all the fall/ winter activities that CFAAA has in store. Thank you for all you do to help our amazing firefighters! Have an awesome day! Donna Donna.leach@cor.gov CFAAA Board Meeting Schedule for 2011 "Board meetings are open to any CFAAA member. They are held at 6:00 P.M. in the conference room at the RFD Administration offices on Greenville Avenue." November 15, 2011 December 13, 2011 Page 3
