The chemical resistance ratings are referred to the base resin used in our compounds and should be used for screening only. These table can only give guidelines for the expected performance of mouldings made from mentioned plastics. The resistance of our resins to chemical substances is significantly dependent upon the actual chemical exposure conditions such as time, temperature and concentrations. It should be noted that the values in the table generally relate to the pure chemicals at ambient temperature. In view of the many factors that may affect processing and application, these data do not relieve processors of the responsability of carrying out their own tests and experiments under actual application conditions or conditions close to them, neither do they imply any legally binding assurance of certain properties or of suitability for a specific purpose. ll the information given in this table are based on our current knowledge and experience.
