Dr.Yukihisa Takahashi DDS, MSD, PhD - Undergraduate Degree in Dentistry; Nippon Dental University at Tokyo - ITI Scholar 2002; Department of Prosthodontics (under prof.thomas D Taylor), University of Connecticut Health Center in USA; (2002~2003) - President of Art of Oral Science (AOS) Japan, Study club(2006) - Vice director of Center of Implant Dentistry Japan (under Dr.Hideaki Katsuyama; ITI section Japan)(2003~2008) - Adjunctive Assistant Professor of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Implant, Kyung Hee University in Korea(2010) Session I : Cutting Edge of Innovation Neobiotech System - Bringing Innovation to Clinical Practice 08:40-09:20 In recent oral implantology, important key words have always guided us to the latest scientific trends. Bone graft, GBR, Sinus floor elevation, socket preservation, immediate implant placement, computer guided surgery, overdentures, implant surface characteristics, platform switching and peri-implantitis are the key words chosen by Thomson Reuters, the company that invented journal impact factor in the 60s. It must be noted that all these key words apply to the products developed and marketed by Neo Biotech, which tells us how advanced and innovative Neo Biotech solutions are. Implant practice in my clinic has experienced significant changes for the past 5 years since the introduction of Neo Biotech products. FR kit for implant removal, SCA and SLA kit for sinus augmentation, ACM for autogenous bone harvesting, citi-membrane for bone augmentation, i-brush and R-brush for surgical approach to periimplantitis, gingi-blush for implant maintenance are all MUST for me today. CMI implant system ensures excellent primary stability and makes immediate implant placement reliable and simple. Availability of various types and sizes of fixtures facilitates implant placements even in very difficult environment. Use of CMI implant system has greatly improved treatment results in my clinic. In this presentation, I d like to demonstrate how Neo Biotech s advanced technology and product portfolio covering every area of implantology are contributing to the improved treatment results and patient satisfaction in my practice. He has served as the President of Korean Academy Of Maxillofacial Implantology as well as the President of Korean Academy Esthetic Dentistry. Session I : Cutting Edge of Innovation Flapless Surgery with NeoGuide & Neo Digital Technology 10:10-10:50 Implant surgery has evolved to facilitate safe and minimally invasive procedures, the gold standard of surgical trend today. While flapless implant surgery may be clinically beneficial, it has generally been perceived as a blind procedure limited to straightforward cases that do not pose a risk of surgical complication. The objective of this presentation is to describe a protocol for flapless implant placement in a variety of edentulous cases using NeoGuide surgical splint (NeoGuide), which take use of Neo Digital Technology using Trioss intraoral scanner. The NeoGuide provides the highly accurate intraoperative flapless navigation surgery. The highly accurate intraoperative navigation enables precise transfer of the detailed presurgical implant treatment plan to the patient. This is valuable both in restoring totally and partially edentulous multiple-teeth cases as well as in restoring single-tooth cases. The accurate positioning of the implants, based on the presurgical digital plan, allows fabrication of a provisional fixed prosthesis before the implant surgery for immediate postoperative loading. In cases lacking in volume of bone such as huge alveolar bone defects or highly pneumatized maxillay sinus, GBR or maxillay sinus grafts were performed previously. This innovative protocol can enhance safe placement of dental implants and enables immediate postoperative loading. Dentist Section 9

Neobiotech pursues an implant that is easy to place wherever, non-technique sensitive during placement, ideal in initial fixation (at least to be non-submerged) for early loading or immediate loading with minimal bone loss and 98% long-term success rate. First named as SinusQuickTM, the CMITM implant, for 8 years, have maintained the unique implant design and the special drilling protocol of CMI Fixation, and developed a hypothesis of the so-called AnyTime Loading and tried to clinically prove its consistency. This lecture will thoroughly analyze the pros and cons of the CMI implant design, differentiate between the concepts of AnyTime Loading and conventional/early/ immediate loading, suggest a drilling protocol of CMI fixation following the implant design and bone density, and discuss the clinical application of AnyTime Loading by eliminating the stability dip. These will be supported by the statistics of the 8 year long-term clinical results; scientific bases will go under an extensive clinical evaluation. At closing, I will explain my own interpretation of the future of implant dentistry on the basis of my 25 years of implant experience. 11:10-12:00 10 Dentist Section

The study also compared and evaluated efficiency, and function of this product with the other implant of foreign well-known company. (Straumman, SLActive Bone level Implant) will be discussed. This is to get objective research data of Neobiotech implant developed by own national technology in comparison with the foreign implant leading the world dental implant market, and to prove superiority or inferiority of Neobiotech implant with providing the comparative clinical result for international market advance as well as domestic market. Furthermore, purpose of the study is to create economic effect reducing patient s time charge, and financial charge by Early Loading in Korea whose patient s demand for dental implant treatment is increasing rapidly due to aging society. It is also to establish standard treatment guideline for Early Loading of Neobiotech CMI IS-II active implant. 12 Dentist Section

Dr. Byung-Do Ham PhD, Seoul National University School of Dentistry Adjunct Professor of Seoul National University School of Dentistry Adjunct Professor of Korea University School of Medicine Adjunct Professor of Ewha Womans University School of Medicine Founder and Director, Institute of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry Director of Kainos Dental Clinic Session III : Cutting Edge of Managing Peri-implantitis & Bone Augmentation How to Prevent and Solve Unpredictable Implant Complications 14:00-14:50 For the last two years in Neobiotech Symposium, the theme, complications in implant dentistry has been introduced in detail and intensively discussed. In Neobiotech Symposium 2013, the topic, soft tissue management for complicated defects around anterior implants was introduced. Through the presentation, sequential results and clinical solutions of soft tissue augmentation procedures (free soft tissue graft and pedicle soft tissue graft) were discussed in cases to correct an unnaturally-looking profile around anterior implants. In Neobiotech Symposium 2014, 20 years follow up clinical cases of non-surgical and surgical intervention for peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis were reported. With the introduction of devices and instruments by Neobiotech Company the consensus concept of periodontology was presented like the followings; (1) subgingival debridement for peri-implant mucositis, (2) open flap debridement for peri-implantitis. In Neobiotech Symposium 2015, interrelationship of implant complications and unpredictable healing of extraction sockets will be introduced. It will be harder to understand, but attendants will get to know somewhat unknown fields of implant complications through this presentation. In this presentation special concerns and solutions of extraction sockets are going to be suggested to prevent any unpredictable implant complication happening after tooth extraction and long-term results of anterior implants and clinical guidelines to raise esthetic level of anterior implants will be added. Dr. Yasushi Nakajima 1990 Graduation at Osaka dental university 1990 Tsurumi university school of dental medicine 1st department of oral and maxillo-facial surgery : clinical fellow 1992 Harvard school of dental medicine department of periodontology : visiting research fellow 1994 Bern university department of oral surgery : visiting research fellow 1995 Abo dental clinic : clinical doctor 1998 Nakajima dental clinic : director 2000 Fukuoka dental college department of oral implantology : research fellow 2001 Ph.D degree at Tsurumi university school of dental medicine 2004 ITI fellow 2006 Visiting adjunct professor in Kyung hee University Session III : Cutting Edge of Managing Peri-implantitis & Bone Augmentation Prevention and Treatment for Peri-implantitis 14:50-15:30 There are many factors that need to be considered during implant treatment planning such as three-dimensional implant position, implant proximity, design and cleaning ability of the prosthesis. Improper implant treatment planning may result in biological complications such as insufficient keratinized mucosa and bone volume loss at the implant recipient site. On the other hand, peri-implantitis can be also caused by the plaque accumulation around peri-implant soft tissue and actually has become one of the most frequent problems after implant placement. The peri-implantitis can be prevented by a proper patient s oral hygiene as well as regular interval of maintenance. Healthy peri-implant condition can be confirmed by a monitoring based on probing around peri-implant soft tissue. Especially, the bleeding on probing is most important key factor to detect peri-implant disease. The treatment of peri-implantitis can be performed as plaque control in terms of enhancement of oral hygiene, non-surgical approach and surgical approach. Therefore, the clinical steps to prevent and treat the peri-implant disease will be presented during this lecture. 14 Dentist Section

Prof. June-Sung Shim DDS PhD - Graduated from Yonsei University College of Dentistry, Korea - Completion of Dental Prosthodontics Specialist at Yonsei University College Hospital - PhD, The University of Manchester - Professor of Yonsei University College of Dentistry Head Professor of Dental prosthetics Clinical Director of Dental Prosthetics University Hospital Dental Laboratory chief - Planning Director of Korean Academy of Digitalized Dentistry - Vice-Chairman of The Korean Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Implantology - Director of The Korean Academy of Prosthodontics - Residency Training Director of Korean Dental Hospital Association Session IV : Cutting Edge of Digital Dentistry Chairside Milling Machine, The Future of Dentistry 16:30-17:10 The practical use of Digital Technology shows its true worth especially in dental prostheses treatments. CAD technology makes communication smarter between the clinics and labs in prosthetics procedure, fabrication of prosthetics using milling or prospective printing technique shows consistency and reproducibility which scientific results are difficult to get from traditional technique. I have been using CAD CAM system for 10 years in my clinic, but improvement and supply of equipment and material in the recent years are making absolutely amazing results. I would like to share presently upgraded experience all together in our society. Improvement and optimization of equipment facilitating In-Office milling bring overachieve effect for enhancement of efficiency. Not only the advantage for unnecessariness of external facility simply, but also control of occlusion planning and all supporting technique controlled by the technician actively became possible, so it caused improvement in efficiency of all clinics, and experience of patient. The present is supposed to be the timing that related technology is generalized, and possibility of solution customized individual clinic should be choice criteria. I look forward to sharing the experience of process about digital technology getting settled from university hospital which has various understanding and experience about various technologies. 16 Dentist Section

Dr. Jong-Yub Kim Graduated from DanKook University, Dental School Clinical training, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, DanKook University Regidency, Postdoctoral Prosthodontics, Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine Clinical Faculty, Postdoctoral Prosthodontics and Implantology, Boston University Adjunct Professor, Dankook University, Dental School Adjunct Professor, Ehwa women s University, Medical School Adjunct Professor, Catholic University, Medical School Adjunct Professor, Korea University, Medical School Private Practice (Seoul, Korea) - SMart Dental Session IV : Cutting Edge of Digital Dentistry AnyTime Loading with Neo Digital Technology 17:10-18:00 For many years, Neobiotech has been attempting AnyTime Loading with Neobiotech CMI implant, which can be applied not only to the immediate loading using Active placement that is placing an implant by preventing the pressure in the cortical bone, and pressing the inner cancellous bone densely, but also to early loading, moreover, the operator may load whenever he wants, and thanks to the remarkable development of implant design, surface, and the surgical instruments, it has been proved successful. Conditions that enhance initial stability, and induce biological bone formation with excellent surfaces without decreasing the fixation has been approved in many clinical cases. Since early 2000s, implant CT based guide template placement method which is used to determine the depth and path for the implant placement by merging CT data and the contour of soft tissue (intraoral digital scanning, or model scan) as well as one of the methods tried in static navigation implant placement has been consistently developed, moreover, recently we have reached a stage that can combine the prosthesis with abutment design using the guide designing software. Fabrication and use of surgical guide by using accurate CAD/CAM milling machine, intraoral digital scanner, and CT data will enable to prepare the tools needed for the placement as well as a variety of restoration fabrications such as temporary or final prostheses, and when early loading, or AnyTime loading while placing the implant is possible, the prepared prostheses may be delivered to the patient s mouth immediately or after a short period of time to recover the function. In this lecture, paradigm shift in future implant treatment including clinical cases of immediate or early loading right after the surgery using Neo Digital technology and preparing the prosthesis in advance as its form is determined in diagnostic process through Neo Guide and Neo Guide surgical kit will be discussed.
