Dr. Fisher offers individualized surgical and implant placement treatments with IV sedation options. EDUCATION Mount Saint Mary s College in Emmitsburg, MD bachelors of science from 1970-1974; University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School from 1975-1979. Wilmington Medical Center Oral Surgery Residency from 1979-1983 where he was chief resident in 1983. BIO Dr. Chris Fisher is a lifelong Maryland resident growing up in Montgomery County Maryland. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary s College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Fisher earned his dental degree from University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore and completed a 4 year residency at Wilmington Medical Center from 1979-1983 where he was chief resident. Dr. Fisher has been a well- respected Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the past 30 years. Currently, Dr. Fisher is an active staff member at Prince Georges Hospital Center, as well as Montgomery General Hospital and Surgery Center of Maryland. He is instructor/trainer for the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support since 1982. He has been the past Division Director of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Prince Georges General Hospital and Trauma Center. Past President of the Middle Atlantic Society of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has presented numerous lectures to prestigious societies and been guest lecturer in the field of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Fisher has also participated in many volunteer services for the Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons in the state of Maryland. On a personal level, Dr. Fisher is married to Terry Fisher. They have een married for 28 years. Together they enjoy going to dinner, or visiting places such as Alaska and South Carolina to visit her family. But should Dr. Fisher have some time to himself, he enjoys the simple life by going off shore fishing and golfing.
