Research Activities: I am a supervisor on postgraduate research projects in Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University in the following qualifications: DDS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) - Conventional versus locking system in mandibular reconstruction (clinical & radiographic assessment). - Clinical and radiographic evaluation of immediate versus delayed reconstruction of mandibular defects. - The effect of platelet rich fibrin in the healing of autogenous bone grafts in mandibular reconstruction. MDS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) - Evaluation of the role of distraction osteogenesis in correction of mandibular post-ankylotic deformity prior to release of ankylosis. - Effect of autologus blood injection for treatment of tempromandibular joint hypermobility. - Evaluation of the three-dimensional soft tissue changes after anterior segmental maxillary osteotomy. - Augmentation of the maxillary sinus floor with autogenous mandibular bone block and simultaneous implantation. - Evaluation of Platelet-rich fibrin(prf) on osseous defect regeneration after cyst enculeation.
