Introduction to the Maitland-Australian concept of assessment & treatment. Emphasis is on the Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar spine. Principles of assessment & treatment addressed in lab sessions and "live" patient demonstrations. Management of the pain-dominant and the stiffness-dominant patient using skilled manual techniques of joint mobilization and manipulation. The included 112 page Course Manual contains 146 digital photographs of the techniques. Day 1: 8:30am-5:00pm* In some instances may be 12:30pm-8:00pm Day 2: 8:00am-5:00pm Day 3: 8:00am-2:00pm MT-2 Course Requirements May be taken as the first course in the series. Open to PTs, MDs, DOs. Accurate assessment and clinical decision making are the keys to effective treatment. This is taught in a 70% "Hands-On" laboratory format. "Live" patient assessment is also included, where allowed. On a scale of 1(Poor) to 6 (Outstanding) the average for the last 13,778 participants was 5.77 or 96.16%

MT-1 Basic Peripheral Course Introduction to Maitland's principles for the assessment and treatment of the Peripheral joints. Lower limb segment include the Hip, Knee, Patello/Femoral, Ankle and Foot. MT-2 Basic Spinal Course Introduction to Maitland's principles for the assessment and treatment of the Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar spine. MT-3 Intermediate Spinal Course Continuation from MT-2, assessment and treatment of the Spinal column, refined and clarified. Including spinal instability testing, Traction, Stabilization, and Introduction to Cervical Manipulation. MT-GMT...GERIATRIC MANUAL THERAPY 15 Hours Direct (2 Days), 9 Hours Home Study, 2.4 CEUs, $475 MAPS Senior faculty member Chad Cook wrote this 2 day, 75% hands on, workshop on the evidence based role of manual therapy in the disease specific management of the geriatric population.
