Physical Education Waiver Mission Hill Middle School THROUGH: Angela Meeker, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Approve the request to waive Physical Education for a Mission Hill Middle School student. The Mission Hill Middle School administration is asking the Board to waive District Physical Education requirements for a middle school student who has met and exceeded all academic classes but is unable to participate in P.E. due to a serious health condition. Education Code 51241 authorizes the governing board of a school district to waive Physical Education under specific circumstances. The student s doctor has provided a letter to support this request.
