The meeting is intended to provide a summary of the stateof-the-art knowledge of the pathogenesis and clinical management of hepatocellular carcinoma, and the research conducted in Mount Sinai. Activity Goals and Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: n Provide information and data in order to reduce the gap between evidence-base knowledge and clinical practice. n Identify novel drugs in the field of HCC and key concepts to guide data analysis in clinical trials. n Discuss and validate relevant information about the discovery of novel targets for chemopreventive strategies and treatment of HCC. n Comprehend the current knowledge of cholangiocarcinoma and management to better inform the attendees about this disease.
