W This is a legacy event and EVERYBODY in your town looks forward to it do to fix this? Where can you get the needed volunteers? What can be d situation? Well I have good news, and the answer lies with one of your neighborin Pick up the phone or shoot them an email and ask for volunteers from t seem obvious, it hasn t been done very often in our Zone. And that s a are real benefits to this kind of inter-club cooperation. Foremost, of cou hands provided to your club, but the bonds you will make with your fellow club will strengthen both your clubs. You may be thinking that the other club will want a cut of the project fu maybe they don t, and it s always good courtesy to ask. But a simpler s score by helping the other club on their next project. More hands for more service. That s always the goal, and we ll all benef friendships and better understanding as we cooperate with a neighborin try! I hope to see you all at the upcoming Zone Meeting! ZC Luis

Then on March 24, 2018, twenty Lions joined with the Springbrook Community and Caring for Kids for an Easter Egg Hunt in cold, drizzling weather. At 9AM, the Lions loaded up their trucks, delivered the 3,000 eggs, baskets, coloring kits, prizes, barbeque and food to Springbrook. What: The District 19C Annual Convention When: April 27-28, 2018 Where: Bremerton (Kitsap) Convention Center District Governor Ron and his team are going all-out to present a full schedule of events. The convention will kick off on Friday, April 27. Friday Fun Night will feature Almost Phamous Al the DJ and everyone is invited to dress up as their favorite SERVant while enjoying the evening s festivities with your Lions friends from around the District! Saturday will feature interesting speakers and seminars as well as our District Memorial Remembrance, voting for candidates and bylaws changes. The evening will be capped off with the District Governor Banquet. In addition to bringing as many Lions from you club as possible, I d also like EVERY club in our Zone to bring a Raffle Basket for the event. This helps to defray the cost of putting on the convention. There is a great list of basket theme suggestions in the January District Bulletin, but feel free to be creative and surprise us with your own unique club theme! So set your sails for Bremerton and I hope to see all of you there! ZC Luis
