mehealth for ADHD is a team-oriented approach where parents and teachers assist healthcare providers to deliver the best care to children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD. There are 2 key stages in the ADHD care process: Assessment which determines if the child meets criteria for ADHD and may benefit from treatment. Treatment carefully and quickly determining the correct medication and dosage for a child and then monitoring the effectiveness of the drug and any side effects that may develop over time. Introduction Both steps in this process require input from parents and teachers. Providing the best care to ADHD patients depends on receiving information about the child s home and school behavior. During assessment, parents and teachers each complete rating scales reporting on the child s behavior at home and school. Once the treatment has started, parents and teachers will be asked to fill out additional rating scales from time to time to determine the effectiveness of the treatment. These follow-up scales are important to complete in a timely manner so that any deterioration in symptoms or side effects can be detected quickly. The rating scales are brief and simple to complete. mehealth for ADHD provides all services in a secure, privacy protected environment. This manual will instruct you on how to use mehealth for ADHD.
