Know Thy Cells Cliff Notes (Part 1) keeping it simple The focus of these cliff notes are to accompany my rant on how much I don t want to have to do all this research, but, alas, I have no choice. So I have touched upon the main points of my vlog for you to say ok, I knew that, ok, interesting, ok, what is Ahuvyah even talking about. Yet, the considerations and points I bring up are really really relevant to everyone, and yes, they are simple concepts and require loving, compassionate attention. The more you give the greater the response your cells will give The saddest aspect of life is that science gathers knowledge quicker than society gathers wisdom Isaac Asimov The above quote reflects the state of many of us when it comes to our awareness and ability to understand and effectively respond to things that are taking place in our body, mainly within our cells. During the first year of my Cell Regeneration Protocol, (which inspired this vlog series,) one of the main areas I focused on was the different systems and organs in the body and how successful I was at keeping them happy and healthy. The body definitely communicates physical and intuitively to let you know if things are doing well, many times it showed itself when I was about to eat something, or felt very strongly about something that I had not been able to resolve. How do you know what your body is saying, or if it s saying anything at all? This is the question I get from a lot of people, and more so, how do you know what it is saying, and what do I need to do about it. We are about to step into thought precedes substance, and that Etheric body (some people call this life force energy, prana, chi ) so be very 1

open and receptive to receive the information, meditating and resonate with it for 48 hours, before you even try to conceptualize your thoughts about it! Becoming Aware Becoming aware becomes the most important step you will take toward healing and wholeness, it is humbling how unaware we are most of our lives, so when we are blessed to finally awaken to what has been before us for a very long time, it is of joy and celebration, because we are expanding and open for ascension. The best way to explore and navigate your way in this realm of Awareness is the breath. Conscious breathing allows you to stay in and heighten your new levels of awareness. It allows you to explore the heights and depths of this new exciting playground! When you find an area of your body that is irritated or communicating with you immediately give it attention. Inhale using whichever breath you connect with, or some kind of pleasant aroma, and be aware of the part that needs help as you exhale, imagining that you are giving it good energy as you do so. 2

STOP AND BREATHE! Breathing becomes the gateway for the emotional/mental mind to connect and find a strong balance with the etheric/spiritual mind. Yes, we have various levels of consciousness which we are ultimately seeking to align so that they function as one Collective Consciousness. The two breathing techniques below are fun and highly effective when seeking to come into a higher level of calm almost immediately. Taking slow, deep breaths increases oxygen in our bloodstream and thus in our brain. Deep breathing signals the parasympathetic nervous system to activate and thus induce relaxation throughout the body. When we pause to breathe deeply, our heart rate slows and our blood pressure decreases. When a person is relaxed, their breathing is nasal, slow, even and gentle. Deliberately mimicking a relaxed breathing pattern seems to calm the autonomic nervous system, which governs involuntary bodily functions. Physiological changes can include: Lowered blood pressure and heart rate, Reduced amounts of stress hormones, reduces lactic acid build-up in muscle tissue, Balanced levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood, Improved immune system functioning, Increased physical energy How We Breathe To stay inflated, the lungs rely on a vacuum inside the chest. The diaphragm is a sheet of muscle slung underneath the lungs. When we breathe, the diaphragm contracts and relaxes. This change in pressure means that air is 'sucked' into the lungs on inhalation and 'pushed' out of the lungs on exhalation. The intercostal muscles between the ribs help to change the internal pressure by lifting and relaxing the ribcage in rhythm with the diaphragm. Flexing the diaphragm requires the use of the lower abdominals. If your abdomen gently moves in and out while you breathe, then you are breathing correctly. 3

Breathing and Stress The brain sets the breathing rate according to carbon dioxide levels, rather than oxygen levels. When a person is under stress, their breathing pattern changes. Typically, an anxious person takes small, shallow breaths, using their shoulders rather than their diaphragm to move air in and out of their lungs. This style of breathing empties too much carbon dioxide out of the blood and upsets the body's balance of gases.shallow over-breathing - or hyperventilation - can prolong feelings of anxiety by exacerbating physical symptoms of stress, including: Chest tightness, Constant fatigue, Faintness and lightheadedness, Feelings of panic, Headaches, Heart palpitations, Insomnia, Muscular aches, twitches or stiffness, Tingling, numb and cold hands and face. Alternate Nostril Breathing is called Nadi Shodhana Pranayama, which translates to subtle energy clearing breathing technique, and it has many benefits. Alternate Nostril Breathing helps calm the mind, reduce anxiety, and bring a feeling of relaxation to the entire body. It also relaxes the mind in preparation for meditation, which can be helpful for those struggling to settle down before meditating. Use the thumb of the right hand to close the right nostril, and the index finger or ring finger of the right hand to close the left nostril. - Close the right nostril and gently and fully inhale through the left nostril. - Then close the left nostril and exhale through the right nostril. - Then inhale through the right nostril. - Close the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril - Continue repeating, alternating nostrils after each inhalation. 4

Ujjayi Breath- Seal your lips and start to breath in and out through your nose. Take an inhalation through your nose that is slightly deeper than normal. Exhale slowly through your nose while constricting the muscles in the back of your throat. (ocean) - Ujjayi breathing instills endurance that enhances a flowing practice by lending a meditative quality that maintains the rhythm of the class. - It diminishes distractions and allows the practitioner to remain self-aware and grounded - Ujjayi breathing regulates body heat. The friction of the air passing through the lungs and throat generates internal body heat, similar to a massage for the internal organs - Ujjayi breath can release tension and tight in body. - Ujjayi breathing tells us when we need to surrender allowing us to step back from ego. You have to get to know your body- your brain is inside your skull, your heart is in the center of your chest surrounded by your lungs, your liver runs across your body below your ribcage, your stomach is on the left, under your liver, your kidneys are behind the liver on the right and behind the stomach on the left, and in the big area below your navel is the jumble of your intestines. by Serge Kahili King I loved the above quote because he makes life simple, he breaks down the cliff notes perfectly, yet, even I realized that I was going to have to dig deeper to get to the source of my inquiry. I listed the basics of all the systems so you could start talking to your closest relatives (cells) to your state of consciousness. 5

Systems in the Human Body Circulatory System- (heart, blood, vessels) Respiratory System- (nose, trachea, lungs) Immune System- (many types of protein, cells, organs, tissues) Skeletal System- (bones) Excretory System- (lungs, large intestine, kidneys) Urinary System- (bladder, kidneys) Muscular System-m(muscles) Endocrine System- (glands) Digestive System- (mouth, esophagus, stomach, intestines) Nervous System- (brain, spinal cord, nerves) Reproductive System- (male and female reproductive organs) 6

Nervous System The body has connectors neurons that communicate signals throughout the body. Messages are sent through nerves called neurons that are responsible for communication in the body. The nervous system controls the body's sense of smell, hearing, tasting, seeing and touching. The brain is the largest function of the nervous system. Endocrine System The endocrine system is made from different glands in the body that are in charge of moving chemicals and hormones through the body. Hormones control varies functions in the body such as growing, metabolism and moods. A gland is a bunch of cells that release chemicals. The endocrine system has an effect on nearly every cell, function and organ in the human body. Respiratory System The respiratory system brings oxygen into the human body and gets rid of carbon dioxide. The body needs oxygen to live. The organ used in the respiratory system is the lungs. Inside the lungs are tiny sacs. When the body takes in air, the lung sacs fill with air. The heart pumps blood inside the lungs and takes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Every breath the body takes consists of taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. Your Lungs and Respiratory System Circulatory System The primary job of the circulatory system is transporting materials through the body. It carries nutrients, oxygen and water to different cells in the body and removes wastes the cells create. The main parts of the circulatory system are the heart, blood, and blood vessels. The heart beats three billion times in an average life span and its primary goal is keeping the blood flowing through the body. 7

Immune System The immune system is made up of cells, organs, proteins and tissues that fight together to guard the human body against diseases. The skin is an organ of the immune system that keeps harmful substances out of the body and holds beneficial substances in. The immune system attacks germs and rids the body of disease. The body fights a common cold by producing more mucus through the mucous membranes which drain the germs out of the body. Digestive System The digestive system helps turn food into a form that the body can find useful. The nutrients that are taken into the body are distributed evenly by the circulatory system. Food is broken down into tiny particles and passes though the mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestines. These parts work together passing food through the body but keeping and using the nutrients it needs. Muscular System The muscular system partners with the skeletal system to help the body move. The muscular tissues cool and heat the body under the skin. Muscles that are not controlled are called involuntary muscles. The muscles that are controlled are the voluntary muscles. Almost half the weight of the human body is made up of the skeletal system. There are approximately 650 muscles in the human body. Skeletal System The skeletal system protects major organs throughout the body. Bones are connected by cartilage, joints and ligaments. The skeletal system allows the body to move around and gives it shape. Bones contain marrow inside where red and white blood cells are made and carried through the whole body by the circulatory system. 8

Excretory System Toxins are expelled through the excretory system. The most important organs of the excretory system are the kidney, liver and skin. The liver works as a filter helping to catch wastes and remove them from the body. Excess salt is removed out of the body by the kidneys. The skin secretes salt, water and other toxins out of the body by sweating. The excretory system is very important for keeping the body clean. You have to learn to feel your body, there is no way around it, there are people who have learned Your body, they have created foods to feed specifically to your genetic makeup and they have figured out ways to degenerate the cells so they go into apoptosis abnormally. Your body listens to your every thought, word and image, and it has a relative response to each. The thoughts you dwell on the most have the strongest feelings which are infused into your behavior and the habits you create. There is so much to be said and studied but, NNNAAAHHH! I enjoy living to much! So, I surround myself around brilliant people who balance me out! We will delve much deeper into the systems in our next presentation. I hope my Cliff Notes help! Until next time my Star Seeds, STOP AND BREATH 9
