Functions of the Female Reproductive System: Produces estrogen. Produces, stores, and transports ova. Provides a place for fertilization to occur. Protects and nourishes the fertilized egg as it grows and matures into a human being.

Fallopian Tubes: *Tubes that transport the egg from the ovary to the uterus. Fertilization occurs here. Fallopian Tube Ovary

How to take care of the Female Reproductive System: 1. Get regular checkups by a physician. 2. Bathe regularly. 3. During menstruation (period) change tampons and sanitary pads frequently. 4. Practice sexual abstinence before marriage
