Event Details Fifth Annual ISF Gala Friday evening, October 25th, 2013 Belo Mansion & Pavilion Featuring: Emerald City Band, Silent and Live Auctions, VIP Cocktail Reception, Guest Cocktail Reception with Open Bar, Seated Dinner, ISF Students. Purpose & Goals Largest fundraising event of the year for ISF. ISF is not supported by state or federal funding, therefore corporate sponsors and private donors are the heart of our program. To broaden the awareness of the unique challenges and lack of resources orphaned and aged-out foster youth face as they transition out of foster care, and pursue their dream of a higher education. To raise funds that will enable ISF to continue bridging the gap for orphaned and aged-out foster youth who need financial assistance for college, graduate school, or a specialty school. To generate the financial support required to (1) Continue supporting our existing / current ISF students, and (2) to fund future scholarships for new students. To promote and generate interest in becoming a part of our volunteer, mentoring team. Annual Gala Success The financial outcome from last year s event provided ISF the opportunity to fulfill the financial needs of our existing students and accept 12 new students. Provided us with new mentors from among the attendees, as well as referrals of other individuals who were interested in mentoring. Background 5 th Annual Gala ISF will host approximately 350 400 guests from the Dallas/Fort-Worth Metroplex. ISF supporters are educated, active, long-standing residents of the Dallas/Fort-Worth community.
