Kevin Flynn, MPP Oakville 3 ERINOAKKIDS IN MY DREAMS CAMPAIGN

Our new Oakville site (serving Halton Region) The May 2011 approval of our Redevelopment Project by the Province of Ontario will change the face of the communities we serve for generations to come. The Province is providing 100 percent of the funds required to purchase the land, design and construct three new centres in Brampton/Caledon, Mississauga and Oakville/Halton. OPENING SPRING 2017 The building sits on a 5.2 acre parcel of land adjacent to the new Oakville hospital, providing opportunities for further collaborations with the hospital. Scheduled to open in spring 2017, the new sites will replace our current patchwork of leased and retrofitted office and commercial spaces, more than doubling our treatment space from 128,000 to over 280,000 sq. ft. At approximately 79,000 sq. ft., the Oakville/ Halton site will serve about 5,600 (35% of all clients) children and youth from the Region, including Burlington, Georgetown, Milton and Oakville. The site will employ about 116 staff members. 2000 GLENORCHY LANE There is not a single person that does not benefit when kids are able to access high-quality care right in their communities. The new ErinoakKids facilities will allow families requiring special care to receive it all under one roof. This makes Oakville a more accessible, livable community for all, and I am proud to be a part of it. Rob Burton, Oakville Mayor and Honourary Campaign Patron 4 ERINOAKKIDS IN MY DREAMS CAMPAIGN

Services at our new Oakville/Halton site Autism services The site will be home to a significantly enhanced Autism Program that will include 16,372 sq. ft. of classrooms, teaching areas and activity spaces, as well as a lunch room and more. We will be equipped to serve 1,300 children with autism and their families. SEATING ASSESSMENT ROOM THERAPEUTIC TREATMENT AND PLAYROOM THERAPY GYM BRAMPTON/CALEDON REGIONAL RESPITE CENTRE Specialized medical clinics Neuromuscular, spina bifida, orthopedic, orthotic and other specialty medical and therapy clinics will be provided. For clients with hearing loss, we will provide audiology testing and assessment services, including a hearing aid dispensary. Specialty clinics will serve approximately 600 children and youth each year. Therapy services Services such as Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Recreation Therapy will serve approximately 2,400 children and youth each year. Community Access For the first time ever, family members will be able to participate side-by-side with our 4,000 clients in Mississauga. In addition to supporting our Recreation Therapy Programs, the adapted fitness centre, gyms, family resource centre, youth drop-in centre, community meeting spaces, playgrounds, etc. provide the opportunity for everyone from our community to learn and grow together. Regional Respite Centre Families from Brampton and throughout our service area will be able to obtain respite care at our new 26-bed Regional Respite Centre, located at our Brampton site. The Respite Centre will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide short periods of care for children and youth with complex care needs from Halton, Peel and surrounding areas. 5 ERINOAKKIDS IN MY DREAMS CAMPAIGN

Our $3 million In My Dreams campaign A total investment of $201 million was required to realize the dream of opening our three new sites in Brampton/Caledon, Mississauga and Oakville/Halton. For Oakville/Halton, a total of $55.2 million is required. The Province has committed $50 million and the In My Dreams Campaign is raising the balance. With the campaign now well underway, the Oakville/Halton In My Dreams Campaign is seeking to raise our final $3 million by May 2017! We invite you to join our Campaign volunteers, matching gift challenge donors and many, many others to help us achieve this goal! Matching gift challenges Sean and Lynne Seawright Generous benefactors Sean and Lynne Seawright have also established a Matching Gift Challenge to help raise the $750,000 required for our three community/outdoor therapy playgrounds ($250,000 per site). For every dollar donated to these playgrounds, the Seawrights will donate $2, up to a maximum matching contribution of $500,000. Longo s Family Charitable Foundation Longtime ErinoakKids supporters, Longo s, have issued a Matching Gift Challenge to the community, to help raise funds for a Longo s Family Resource Centre at each of our three sites. For every dollar donated to the Centres, Longo s Family Charitable Foundation will match the gift dollar for dollar, up to $750,000. 6 ERINOAKKIDS IN MY DREAMS CAMPAIGN
