Conference Overview The Department of Medicine at is pleased to offer this exciting educational opportunity highlighting updates in Internal Medicine. This course will provide a review of the latest treatment strategies in the management of patients with heart failure, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatitis C, gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, nephrolithiasis, COPD, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. A focused primary care update will include a review of the new anticoagulants and an update on adult vaccinations. This course is intended for internists, family physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who have responsibility for, or interest in, patient care.
