NEWSLETTER JULY/AUGUST EDITION 2017 WelI it is a great honour to be elected the new Dartford Big Local Chair. We have made some changes to our Community Chest Grants, which makes the whole claiming process much easier. We are also in the process of writing our plan for the next couple of years, so if you would like to be a part of this process or have something you would like to add then please contact: spricecommunity@gmail.com. We have contracted Sophie to help us build our partnership and to help us write our plan, and since she has joined us she has been extremely busy meeting locals and local businesses. You can see what she has been up to and who she has been meeting by visiting our Facebook page or following our tweets @DartfordBL. I would like to thank all members of the partnership board for their continuing commitment and support. Janine Warner-White (DBL Chair) Dartford Big Local New Rep Coming at community Development and Social Enterprise via the paths of pub management, world travel and political science; Carl brings a passion for thinking differently to Big Local. As an ultra runner he uses running as metaphor for life; believing we are able to draw on untapped reservoirs of potential as both individuals and communities. Carl has 3 children and in addition to being a Big Local rep he is training with England Athletics to become an Endurance Running Coach by Jan 2018. 1 Inside Pages New Youth Apprentice Tree Youth Club Dartford Big Local Community Chest Summer Holiday Activities Past Events Summer Activities
