Intensity is hw hard a persn shuld exercise t imprve fitness. 27. Mesmrph is a bdy type characterized by a muscular, average frame. 28. Metablism is a prcess in which the bdy turns fd and drinks int energy that the bdy can use. 29. Muscular endurance is defined by hw well a grup f muscles can keep perfrming ver perid f time, withut causing undue fatigue. 30. Nnalchlic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) describes a range f liver cnditins where there is an accumulatin f fat in liver cells that affect peple wh drink little r n alchl. 31. Nnalchlic Steathepatitis (NASH) a mre serius frm f NAFLD, where fatty inflammatin f the liver ccurs in peple wh d nt abuse alchl, which may prgress t cirrhsis. 32. Nutrients are the necessary elements fund in fd that are used by yur bdy. 33. Obesity is a cnditin in which bdy weight is increased by excess fat depsits. 34. TEACHING Mdeling: Students will gather in three grups t watch the activity as it is prjected nt the screen in the classrm. The teams can be arranged prir t the activity starting r when the Jasn prmpts the class t d s. Each grup will then chse a team cntestant when prmpted t d s. Once the game bard appears, Jasn will g ver the instructins fr a game f. Directins fr the game are as fllws: Hllies team will g first. Her team chses a categry and dllar amunt t reveal the answer t that questin. The instructr clicks n that dllar amunt and the answer will appear (see belw). The team t raise their hand first gets t answer. The teams are t phrase their answer as a questin. The instructr will then click n the What s the Questin buttn n the bttm right f the screen t reveal the answer (in questin frm). If their answer is incrrect, the instructr clicks the red buttn and is brught back t the game bard fr the next team t chse a categry and dllar amunt.
Page 5 If their answer is crrect, the instructr clicks the team name t award them the pints. The team wh gets the questin crrect shuld g again by chsing anther categry and dllar amunt. When all categry questins are answered, the final questin will appear. Students will be asked t write their answer (in questin frm) n a piece f paper. They will have 30 secnds t d this. The instructr will award pints t the team(s) wh gt it crrect by clicking n their team name. The gal f the game is t accumulate the mst mney by the end f the game.
