The Restorative Forum is a 3-day Train the Trainer program on the latest DENTSPLY restorative and endodontic products for a small group of experts in restorative dentistry. The Forum is held in Konstanz, Germany, where the DENTSPLY DET REY division, host of the event, is based. 1 Objectives To obtain information on new DENTSPLY restorative and endodontic products and to get trained in how to use them To be able to lecture/teach about these products and to give courses to students and GDPs To enhance the relationship with the national DENTSPLY organization and the DENTSPLY DETREY R&D team 2 Contents Focus topics and products to be informed and trained 2011 are SDR and post-endo restorations. This includes ChemFil Rock, XP BOND, Xeno V (+), SmartLite, Spectrum, Esthet.X, Dyract, QuiXfil, Ceram.X, Core & Post System. 3 Speakers The presentations in Konstanz will be mainly given by members of the DENTSPLY research team. Special guest is Dr. Marco Martignoni, an internationally recognized expert in endodontics, founder of the Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry and honorary member of the French Society of Endodontics. Professor Dr. Thomas Attin, PD Dr. Wolfgang Buchalla, Dr. Tobias Tauböck, Dr. Annette Wiegand, and Dr. Florian Wegehaupt will be presenters and instructors during the program at the Department of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Cariology of the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Hands-on course with practical exercises will cover Class IV (dentin/enamel concept) and Class II (eggshell technique) direct restorations.
