How to register as a Black Elementary Volunteer Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer! To volunteer at Black, you must register with both CFISD and our school. To register with the district: Go to www.cfisd.net Select the "Community Involvement" tab on the top right side, then select "Volunteer" from the drop down options Create a virtual volunteer account by clicking "Virtual Volunteer Account" highlighted in blue under step one on the home page you were directed to Complete the form then click the "Volunteer" button in blue at the bottom of the page. To register with the school: Go to www.blackpto.membershiptoolkit.com Click "Join Black PTO & Register Select "Click here to create an account", then follow directions to set up an account You can now login with your user name (email address) and password Once logged in you can, enter your family information, sign up for volunteer opportunities, join PTO, purchase spirit wear, and more! Please note that by signing up for volunteer areas of interest you are not obligating yourself to any specific volunteer project, you are simply indicating that you would like to be included in the future emails concerning these opportunities. Volunteers make such a positive impact on students and staff and we think you will find your time at the school very rewarding! Be On the Bearkat Birthday Wall of Fame! Let your Bearkat shine during the month of their birthday in our school s main hallway! For only $5.00, your child can have their picture displayed on our Birthday Wall of Fame for the entire month of their birthday. As part of Black s PTO fundraising, PTO volunteers will display the birthday pages each month in the front hallway near the cafeteria. July and August birthdays will be displayed with September birthdays. June birthdays will be displayed with May birthdays. This is a fun way to help raise money for our school and make your child feel special during their birthday month! Birthday pages are DUE SEPTEMBER 4 TH. Fill out the Birthday form and attach a 4x6 photo (photos must be 4x6 and will not be returned). Write a special birthday message to your child on the lines provided. Attach your $5.00 (cash only) to the birthday page. Turn your birthday page into your homeroom teacher BY SEPTEMBER 4 TH.
