What does Trilex/Allegiance offer Over Apron Maxx? Trilex/Allegiance = 2 systemic fungicides (trifloxystrobin + metalaxyl) Trilex is locally systemic and is primarily concentrated in the root zone. Trifloxystrobin viewed as best Rhizoctonia compound tested to date. Allegiance provides systemic protection for the seed, roots and emerging plants against devastating diseases such as Pythium and Phytophora. Apron Maxx has only 1 systemic fungicide (Apron XL). The systemic uptake of trifloxystrobin into the hypocotyl of soybean seedlings provides excellent protection against Rhizoctonia damping-off, compared to Maxim which is a contact fungicide, staying with the seed coat.
