Support a young person with extra support needs (aged 7-19) at all sorts of activities such as; uniformed clubs such as Guides and Scouts, youth clubs, going to the cinema and window shopping. Hart & Rushmoor area (Farnborough, Fleet,, Yately) 1 3 hours per week. Can be during the evening or at weekends; times are dependent on the young person s needs. You can volunteer during any of your frees although not during last lesson of the day as they finish around 3.00pm. You will attend for one free a week for 1hour-1hour30mins, you can do more if you wish but it is best to start volunteering with one free first. LinkAble LinkAble is a -based charity helping people with learning disabilities by providing children and adults with a range of sporting, social and leisure activities in and around the community that would otherwise be unavailable. You must be aged 18+ to work with adult groups. You will have the opportunity to help work with young children with learning disabilities and their siblings, helping them access the activities in a supportive environment. Day: Children s Activity Club. SATURDAY Cresent Centre, Earley 9.30am-11.15am TUESDAY A social group for adults with a learning disability that meets in the community for fun activities. Bracknell 7.00pm-9.00pm

TUESDAY WEDNESDAY A club for young people and adults aged 16+ with learning disabilities, including those with profound learning disabilities. The Acorn Social Club Club for youngsters yr 9 and up with learning difficulties 7.00pm-9.00pm 7.00pm-9.00pm Rushmoor Mallards Sports Club for the Disabled The Rushmoor Mallards is a disability sports club and runs a pay-as-you-go sports and social night every Friday evening at the Farnborough Leisure Centre in Hampshire. We're looking for volunteers to help facilitate these sessions - setting up equipment for sports such as boccia, darts, table-tennis, table football etc., collecting door money and joining in the fun, ensuring that all attendees are encouraged to join in as well. At each session, we are joined by a volunteer coach from a range of sports including football, cricket and trampolining. A willingness to get involved with co-ordinating the rota for these volunteers would also be appreciated. Musical Instrument Instruction Helper The Parents Action for Special Play are looking for volunteers to help with a group of 4 young people with a learning/physical disability learning to play a musical instrument. The Rock and Pop foundation are providing the venue and tutor for the young people to learn to play a musical instrument, drums, keyboard, and guitar. The volunteers will enable the young people to enjoy the session and assist them to put into practice what the music tutor is teaching. The Rock and Pop Foundation, Suite 1 Wesley Chambers, Queens Road Travel expenses can be claimed. A Wednesday evening during term time at either 6.30 or 7.15pm, for a 45min session.
