Easy to use, the scanning unit consists of two cameras, integrated LEDs, and a blue light system for video capture. 7 to 22 mm of distance between the teeth and the handpiece in mouth part of the scanner are required for an optimal dental impression. But it is easy to export the files to an external hard disk or server. WHAT TYPE OF IMAGES CAN BE STORED? The Condor operating system generates as output an open.stl or.ply file. HOW CAN BE THE DATA SHARED WITH DENTAL LABS OR PEERS? The.stl or.ply output is easily sent by e-mail, uploaded on a portal or ftp-server, or any other method used by your practice due to it being built on the Linux Operating System. The most common 3D file format for dental CAD CAM is an.stl file. Open.stl file means, that there is no additional encodings and the compatibility is warrantied. IS THE CONDOR SCANNER ABLE TO CONNECT WITH A MILLING MACHINE? In principle there is no limitation. The Condor data output can be used in an open CAD CAM application.
