Equalis EQA s 2013 Preliminary Schedule For 2013, the preliminary molecular external quality assessment (EQA) programme schedule has been displayed by Disease Group. Note: EQA programmes may appear in more than one group. This has been indicated by the following icons appearing next to the relevant programme names. Disease Group Key Disease Group Colour Icon Blood Borne Virus Central Nervous System Congenital Infection Drug Resistance Exotic Gastro Immunocompromised Respiratory Sexually Transmitted infection Transplant Typing QCMD EQA Pilot Studies 2013 A number of new EQA pilot studies may be introduced throughout 2013, and registration for these will be announced approximately 8 weeks prior to their EQA panel distribution. If you have requirements which are not supported by our current EQA offering, please contact the QCMD team (info@qcmd.org) for information about QCMD pilot studies. New EQA Pilot Studies are show as QCMD Regulatory EQAs in the groupings The regulatory EQA format will comprise of four challenges per year: Two full EQA panels (8-10 panel members) and two core EQA panels consisting of 4 panel members. The focus of these EQAs is on quantitative detection, and following each EQA challenge online reporting will enable participating labs to monitor their cumulative performance over time. NB: Registering for a Regulatory EQA will automatically subscribe you to the A & B EQAs for the selected pathogen.
