Disney Disney Disney Peripheral Venous Interventions & Ultrasound 2014 October 9 11, 2014 Disney's Contemporary Resort Lake Buena Vista, FL 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM Chairman: IAC Accreditation All or a portion of this educational activity may meet the CME requirements for IAC Vascular Testing accreditation. Educational Symposia

About The Meeting Ultrasound has become the primary diagnostic modality to evaluate patients with known or suspected peripheral venous disease. This program is designed to detail the complex anatomy and physiology of the peripheral venous system while highlighting the minimally invasive procedures used to treat the multitude of venous disorders. Expert faculty will share their knowledge of scanning techniques, pearls, pitfalls and challenges associated with imaging the venous system and documenting hemodynamic dysfunction. In addition to diagnostic duplex ultrasound and color flow mapping techniques, their role in treatment will be included in thorough reviews of commonly performed interventions such as venous ablation, sclerotherapy and thrombolytic therapy. Target Audience This program is designed for interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists and other physicians who perform minimally invasive venous procedures who interpret or rely on venous ultrasound studies in their practice. Vascular sonographers and technologists who perform these types of procedures will also find the program beneficial.
