We look forward to our Residents becoming confident and competent clinicians who will have much to contribute to healthcare. Hear from our Residents I chose SingHealth Residency because I enjoy the time I have spent as a doctor in the Academic Healthcare Cluster. The seniors are accomplished surgeons but are also humble. The environment has been supportive and nurturing. There is an emphasis on education and the need to train junior doctors. I enjoy the learning opportunities that are given to me as a Resident and I appreciate having adequate time off to devote to my passions. I appreciate that people around us are trying to make our learning as productive as possible. Dr Cynthia Chia Cardiothoracic Surgery Resident The University of Adelaide Alumnus I chose SingHealth Residency because it is an excellent training ground with a large surgical case mix and clinical opportunities as well as top notch supervisors. I am currently in my third year of training and I see my confidence growing exponentially in both technical and clinical aspects of surgery. The spirit here is an echelon above the rest. The department constantly provides a supportive learning environment where the seniors are always willing to share their invaluable knowledge and experience with the juniors.
