BotanoRoot tm Technical Overview BotanoRoot tm is the product of choice for effective and fast rooting of herbaceous and woody - cuttings, and transplants of all crops. BotanoRoot tm is a granular, high-efficiency, controlled-release rooting compound, synergized by N-P-Ks and chelated trace-elements. 1
Product characteristics and advantages Excellent physical properties: granular, homogenous, free-flowing, non-hygroscopic, does not cake or segregate, easy transportation, handling storage and application. An exclusive combination of highly efficient IBA auxin, with NPK and chelated micro-nutrients, boron, iron, and magnesium. The said ingredients are microencapsulated by vegetal compounds that take care of a slow-discharge of the active ingredients, thereby ensuring continuous and stable exposure of the cuttings to the nutrients, and to the rooting-enhancing compounds. Hence, a rootdevelopment improving environment is produced, which serves for fast production of a new independent plant. Works efficiently for rooting of soft-, semi-hard and hardwood plants. Chloride-free, sodium-free, heavy metals-free. The product does not contain any ingredient that may harm the native soil micro-environment; moreover, it intensifies the growth proliferation of the soil's microflora. BotanoRoot tm is formulated as mini granules, ready to be mixed thoroughly with the growth medium of the cuttings, or the transplants, in which they would be planted. By this, the tedious work of dipping each cutting in a rooting powder, prior to planting is avoided, without compromising the rooting results. 2
The benefit of controlled release discharge The following illustration depicts the remarkable difference between the release dynamics of BotanoRoot tm, and the common IBA products currently used in the marketplace. The figure shows that the common IBA-talcum mixture shows a monotonous decline in the concentration of the IBA, available to the cutting, and that the IBA is practically unavailable 10-12 days after application. BotanoRoot tm, however, presents an increase trend in the first days, then a leveling and following- a very slow decline trend that shows 60% strength even 18 days after application. 3
Actual results Following is a typical example of the effect brought about by the application of BotanoRoot tm on a cutting of difficult-to-root "Suri" olivetree cultivar. The dynamics of root-formation process in the an olive-tree cutting Time zero, the cutting is put in the rooting medium, containing BotanoRoot tm 14 days after planting in a medium containing BotanoRoot tm The cutting is ready to be transferred to unprotected conditions, 28 days after start of rooting process. 4

Attention BotanoRoot tm is compatible with most common agrochemicals, including pesticides and fungicides, and with all crops, but, the above-mentioned guidelines are subject to local soil-, climatic- and cultivar- conditions, whose effects cannot be foreseen. Therefore, in order to minimize the chance of a detrimental effect, we advise to confirm the compatibility of your target plant with the product, by preparing a sample of BotanoRoot tm, at its final concentration. This mixture should be used for a representative number and type of intended planting material, several days before the actual commercial treatment, and the grower should look for any adverse effect before carrying out the actual commercial operation. BotanoCap will be glad to provide advanced growers with exact recommendations after taking into account soil, media and plant analyses, and verifying the specific plot situation. 5
