The ALS Association South Carolina Chapter s vision is to create a world without ALS. Our mission is to lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig s disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. The 2016 Ball Out Against ALS Kickball Tournament is in honor of Ben Wilson, who passed away from the disease. The following is a message from his son, Erik, who is organizing the event. I want to thank everyone for making a choice to have fun and do something great to help fight such a horrible disease. You know it's going for a great cause to help research find a cure for ALS. Our 1st Annual Ball Out Against ALS 2016 Kickball Tournament event will be held at the Elks Lodge in Charleston, SC on June 25, 2016 starting at *:00 a.m. The 2016 Ball Out Against ALS Kickball Tournament is in honor of Ben Wilson, who passed away from the disease.
