ABDOMINOPLASTY TUMMY TUCK Modified Brazilian Technique... 1-20 Hernia Repair - Modified Brazilian Tummy Tuck... 21-23 Fleur de Lys... 24-25 Apronectomy... 26 Mini Tummy Tuck... 27 This is a procedure which removes an unwanted ellipse of excess tissue generally speaking from the belly button to the pubic bone, tissue from the upper abdomen is then moved downwards to close the wound. This new modified Brazilian technique of tummy tuck includes additional liposuction to flanks as standard, all sutures are dissolvable, there are no drains. Patients seem to be in less pain than compared to traditional techniques. So that I now expect all my patients to be comfortable enough to mobilise within a few hours on day of surgery and everyone has been discharged home in 24hours. See images below and the information leaflet for more details about the operation. Please note due to modesty, all underwear is pulled down during pre and post op images, all post op scars are designed to fit below the underwear. All images are taken relatively early to show you the scar types, colour and position. These are all of my former patients who have kindly consented for me to use their images for patient education and teaching purposes, so please treat them appropriately. All images are taken at 4-6months to show early post op results and so that patients get a true representation of what the shape and particularly the scars will look like. As you go through these series of images you will note such variation in pre op anatomy and post op results. This is normal and what makes us all so very individual! Kind regards Mr Garrick Georgeu MB ChB, MSc, FRCS (PLAS)

Modified Brazilian tummy tuck used for removal of 6.29kg of Apronectomy tissues (4.59kg of tissue and 1.7litres of liposuction fat) This is NOT A COSMETIC BUT FUNCTIONAL OPERATION, the aim is to remove large amounts of redundant abdominal skin following massive weight loss. Usually the patients have other medical problems necessitating a quicker procedure. It is high-risk surgery with increased rates of complications including infection, wound breakdown. To obtain very good results, the surgery is often planned to be performed in stages.
