Program Information This half-day classroom-style session will provide information on the following: y Public health legislation and regulations related to public swimming pools, public spas and non-regulated recreational water facilities (i.e. wading pools, splash/spray pads) y Prevention of illness, accident and injury at your facility y Water facility operation and maintenance y Water facility chemistry y Safety equipment y Emergency procedures y Safety supervision Why should you attend this training session? y To prevent illness and injuries associated with recreational water facilities y To increase your knowledge on the safe operation and maintenance of recreational water facilities y To learn more about recreational water facility regulations and guidance documents, to ensure bather safety
Dates and Locations: Information Session Wednesday April 29th, 2015 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Halton Regional Centre - Glenorchy Dakota Room 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville, Ontario (Max: 25 participants) Session fee: $25.00 per participant (Includes light morning refreshments and printed materials) Note: This course will not result in operator certification, but attendees will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the session.
