Cornea Care Services Corneal Tissue DMEK Descemet s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty Descemet s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty is one of the latest surgical processing techniques in corneal transplantation that may provide patients with quicker recovery times and better visual acuity. CorneaGen ensures surgeons have access to pre-stripped tissue for this advanced procedure. Learn how to get started with DMEK at CorneaGen.com/DMEK PRE-PUNCHED DMEK GRAFTS Shipped scrolled, pre-stained and ready to place in your insertion device of choice for easier, faster, and safer DMEK procedures. Save O.R. time with the Geuder Pre-Loaded Glass Cannula for DMEK 4

DSAEK Descemet s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty CorneaGen works directly with each surgeon to identify their graft thickness preferences. Ultra-thin DSAEK grafts are available upon request. This graft consists of the endothelium, Descemet s membrane and an ultra-thin layer of stroma providing nearly the same visual acuity benefits as Descemet s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK). NANO-THIN TM TISSUE Nano-Thin TM DSAEK is the thinnest DSAEK tissue available. At less than 60 microns, Nano-Thin TM DSAEK is another example of how CorneaGen is reimagining cornea care. Request Nano-Thin TM tissue at CorneaGen.com/NanoThin The EndoSerter provides accurate graft delivery and placement. 5

CORNEA CARE SERVICES PKP Penetrating Keratoplasty Standard full-thickness grafts are offered based on the surgeon's predetermined tissue criteria specifications. FLAK Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Keratoplasty Mushroom Tophat Zigzag CorneaGen helped develop the methodology to precisely cut corneal tissue using the IntraLase femtosecond laser to treat a variety of corneal transplant indications. In addition to the popular zigzag, top hat and mushroom tissue shapes, we can prepare the tissue to meet the specific needs of each patient. ALK Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty Partial thickness anterior stromal grafts can be pre-cut upon request or provided for surgeon preparation at time of surgery. 6

CORNEA CARE SERVICES AMPHO B Now available! Most tissue types, including all pre-cut CorneaGen tissue, are now available with Amphotericin B. This anti-fungal* additive to storage media helps provide the peace of mind you need to confidently transplant corneal tissue. Learn more about Ampho B at CorneaGen.com/AmphoB *Data on File Adding Ampho B to the medium is just one more way I know CorneaGen has the patient's best interest in mind. MICHAEL BANITT, MD Seattle, WA 7

CORNEA CARE SERVICES Non-Keratoplasty Tissue HALO CORNEA Halo Sterile Cornea features patented easy-peel packaging allowing for fast and safe introduction of the tissue to the surgical field. A brief rinse of Halo tissues is all that is recommended before use. Unlike traditional patches, Halo Sterile Cornea is clear and will remain clear, resulting in simplified post-op assessment and improved patient cosmesis. It can remain at room temperature and never needs reconstitution, so you can always have tissue on hand for scheduled or emergency needs. SCLERA CorneaGen can provide surgeons with both whole and ¼ sclera preserved in 95% ethanol. Sclera can be stored at room temperature for approximately two years, but must be reconstituted prior to surgical use. 8

CORNEA CARE SERVICES BIO-TISSUE As part of a collaboration with Bio-Tissue, Inc., CorneaGen can provide Kaiser Permanente facilities with Bio-Tissue s cryopreserved amniotic membrane ocular wound healing products for the treatment of ocular surface diseases, including: AmnioGraft - a biologic ocular transplantation graft AmnioGuard - a biologic glaucoma shunt tube graft PROKERA - a product line of biologic corneal bandage devices. The only therapeutic devices cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that reduce inflammation and promote regenerative healing of the ocular surface. GLYCEROLPLUS CORNEA GlycerolPlus Cornea is corneal allograft tissue from human donors. It is initially recovered and preserved in a sterile intermediate term medium, then stored in glycerol, a dehydrating agent, for up to 2 years at room temperature. CorneaGen offers bisected, whole or split thickness GlycerolPlus Corneas. Whole Bisected Split Thickness 9

CORNEA CARE SERVICES Education To advance the transfer of knowledge within the cornea ecosystem, we offer world-class surgeon educational offerings as a courtesy to all. Cornea Care Devices GEUDER PRE-LOADED GLASS CANNULA FOR DMEK The Geuder Pre-Loaded Glass Cannula for DMEK is a sterile, single-use transportation cartridge system, pre-loaded with DMEK tissue and ready to insert. The system includes a front and rear plug and a connected cell culture bottle, which allows for cell culture medium to flow freely, while the position of the tissue is maintained within the cannula. Pre-loaded with DMEK tissue, ready-to-insert. Simplifies the DMEK surgical procedure. Consistent incision size for gentle and controlled injection into the anterior chamber. 12

The Geuder Cannula has taken a lot of the worry out of the DMEK procedure for me. The small incision size in particular leads to a more stable anterior chamber with little to no chance of loss of the tissue out of the wound. I don t plan on doing DMEK with any other device. MATTHEW GIEGENGACK, MD Wake Forest University Eye Center 13
