Monday May 12th At 2 pm we met the other children to went to the airport together. We arrived at the airport in good condition when I wanted check in my bag the girl said to me : I can t take the plane if I don t have a certificate ; I needed a certificate because I had broken my arm 2 week before. So I called my father who had driven me at the airport but he didn t do anything so he phoned my mother because she was the only person who could tell a doctor. During this time I went to the nursery with the English teacher but unfortunately she was absent. At this time I thought I couldn t go to Britain. When I came back close to my Dad the situation was desperate but at this moment my mother phoned me and she said a doctor sent me a fax. The English teacher and I ran in the airport to take the certificate. At the end we could join the other teenagers. The travel in plane was beautiful. We landed at the airport of Liverpool and we went to Chester in a blue bus. When we arrived all families were present just a family was missing, this was our family! Thirty minutes later a car arrived this was friend of the mother of our family, she said the mother had a problem so she drove us in our family. When we arrived we had lunch with her two sons tom and Ben and after that I was tired because the day was very long and stressing. So we went to bed. The day wasn t great for me but I thought I was lucky because without my English teacher and luck I will be remained in France 1

Tuesday 13th May We got up at 7 am, for the first night I slept well. We had a European breakfast at 7.30pm. We took a little green car to join the bus.i was still surprised to drive on the left. We took the bus at 8.15pm. We went to Ironbridge. Ironbridge was a city with the first Iron Bridge. The city was beautiful. We began the visit by Ingenuity museum. This museum was very funny because we could do some things. After that, we walked to seen Iron Bridge. I was happy because the bridge, weather and environment were cool. Then we had our first pack lunch. It didn t look fun but it wasn t bad. It was made of vinegar chips, a sandwich with ham and odd sauce, sandwich with cheese, orange juice and cakes. At 1 pm we took the bus again to go to Blist Hill museum. This museum was a representation of a Victorian town. I was interested at the beginning but it was a little boring in the end. After that, we went by bus to the Iron museum, it wasn t fun because it was difficult to understand. Then we returned to Upton. When we arrived the housewife was present. She made us a surprise. She drove us at her friends who cooked a barbecue. This evening was very cool we spoke lots of English. We returned home at about midnight. I had a shower and went to bed. 2

Wednesday, May 14th We woke up at 7am. We prepared our bag. After we had breakfast at 7,30am. We took the blue bus to go to Llandudno but before that Mathieu stayed in the bathroom during forty five minutes so with Romain we had two minutes to wash. When we arrived in Llandudno, we saw the sea for the first time Then we walked on a hill and we were surprised when we saw a ski slope and summer sledge Mr. Fournier made us a surprise we could do summer sledge. After that we had a packed lunch, unfortunately there were some gulls so... We went down and we had time to do shopping. We took the bus again and we went to Caernarfon and we visited a castle. We visited the middle age castle with a guide. This visit was very interesting because the guide spoke slowly and said lots of information. Then we went to Conwy. In Conwy we had time to do shopping again. After that we came back in Upton. When we were in our family we ate we spoke with the family and we went to bed. 3

Thursday, may 15th We woke up at 7am, we prepare d our backpack for the day and we went to breakfast at 7.30am We had a continental breakfast (tea, toast). As the day before Mathieu stayed in the bathroom during 45 minutes, as the day before with Romain we had two minutes to wash. We joined the rest of the group. We went to York, the trip in bus was long, the route lasted two hours. When we arrived in York we saw a lots of British buses (two deck s and red). We visited the city with a guide. She told us lots of fascinating stories of York. We were happy but in the and we were very hungry so we didn t listen very munch. After that we had our pack ed lunch. we ate quickly to do shopping. While we walked in the city we met Mr. Fournier and he made us a visit of a pub with Romain. At 1.30pm we joined the group again to go in a museum (national Railway Museum) This museum was separated in three parts. The First part was a big hall with many trains. We saw everything from the first steam train to the TGV. We had to complete a paper. This hall was cool because we saw lots of beautiful trains. After that we went in the 2nd room this was boring because this room spoke about history and technology of trains but it was very difficult to understand. The 3rd room was about luxurious trains (the Queen 's train ) this room was good but we didn t have time so we visited this room quickly. Then we came back in Upton and when we arrived we were happy because the land lady said to us the friends that we had seen on Tuesday were eating in our family this evening. So we spend a good evening we spoke lots of English we played football table : the English against the French. We went to bed at midnight. 4

Friday, may 16th We woke up at7.15 am. We were very desperate when the alarm clock rang because we were very exhausted. This morning we had English breakfast we had sausage, bacon, been, egg and tea. We joined the other children to go in Liverpool. The first museum of the day was Merseyside Maritime Museum the beginning of the museum was a room about big boats and their history. The most famous boat was the Titanic 1503 deaths. In the 2nd room this was about slavery.to motivate us the teachers made a challenge. The 3rd against the 4th, we had a quiz. The museum was cool but long. Then we went eaten. We ate the pack lunch!! After we could do shopping but we did shopping 15minutes and we buy ice cream and we stayed sit down to rest. After we went in Beatles museum the museum were my favorite museum. We learn all information about the Beatles and the visit was in French. Then we went in airport because Caroline lost her identity cart so teacher wrote paper. During this time we eat pack lunch. Than we took the bus to went in Chester. We had a Ghost tour!!! This was fun because we visit Chester but this wasn t a simple visit the guide said a lots of history. But this we wasn t scared. When we arrived in our family we went immediately in bed. 5

Saturday May 16th (The last day) At 7 am, the alarm clock rang but we slept until 7:30 am. After we had continental breakfast and we gave our present to the housewife. We finished our bag. We joined the other children and we said goodbye to our family and we went to Liverpool. We went in a commercial center in Liverpool. We had two hours to shop. I bought English food (lemon curd...). after two hours we came back in the bus and a little time after we saw Mathieu ran in the bus and said Milena was ran over by a car. So all the teachers went towards Milena. After a long time waiting Mrs Pflimlin said Milena was well but she had hurt her foot so she went =to hospital so we went in the airport without her. When we arrived at the airport we were 30 minutes late and the teachers said it was Mr. Fournier Who had our identity cards. At the last minute Mrs. Labourier ran in the airport with the identity cards so we checked in our luggage and we ran in the airport to be able to climb in the plane. The travel in plane was beautiful and we landed at the airport in Geneva. So we were happy to see our family and we had lots of things to say to them. 6
