MEETING LOCATION This course will take place at the Westin Boston Waterfront located at 425 Summer Street in Boston, MA on Saturday, November 19, 2016. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS Housing accommodations have been arranged at both the Westin Boston Waterfront as well as an overflow block of rooms at the Aloft Boston Seaport Hotel. Check-in time at both hotels is 3 pm and check-out time is at 12 noon. TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING Click HERE for car/taxi directions and cost to and from the Boston Logan Airport. If you are driving, valet parking is available at the Westin for $46 per day. Self parking is available for $36 per day. Click HERE for driving directions to The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. If you are staying at the Aloft Boston Seaport Hotel, click HERE for parking and transportation information. It is located just behind the Westin and is just a few minutes walk. Discounted parking for anyone parking will not be available. REGISTRATION FOYER Registration will take place in the Harbor Ballroom foyer located on the conference level north wing on Saturday from 7:00 am 7:25 am. You may also check-in on Friday afternoon from 1:30 to 6 pm. GENERAL SESSION HARBOR BALLROOM The course begins at 7:30 am on Saturday in the Harbor III Ballroom. For specific presentation information and times, please see the schedule at Course Program. FOOD & BEVERAGE Breakfast, lunch and refreshments breaks are provided to course participants only. We regret that spouses and families are not permitted in these areas. If you have special dietary requirements, please let an AAOS staff person know as soon as possible. MEETING ROOM INTERNET Complimentary wireless internet will be available in the meeting space. We ask that you only use one device, however as we are charged $16 per day for each device that accesses the Internet. Therefore we have a limited number of connections and ask that you allow others the opportunity to also log-in. SYLLABUS Information on accessing the electronic version that all registrants have access to as part of your registration fee will be emailed to the email address on file approximately 1 week prior to the course. We encourage you to bring your laptop or table to the course to review the e-syllabus and respond to the questions reviewed during the course. Power strips will be available.
ADDITIONAL WEBSITE We are finalizing the creation of an additional website where you will be able to access the electronic syllabus, ARS questions, etc through late Spring 2017. Look for details on accessing this website shortly. DRESS Please dress comfortably for the meeting. You may wish to have a sweater or jacket along with you to wear in the meeting room.
