The Parish of St. Martin does require any person dispensing or serving alcoholic beverages in any retail establishment where the principal business is the sale of alcoholic beverages within the Parish of St. Martin, licensed for on- premise consumption to file an application for a Certification of Qualification to do so with the Office of the Sheriff of. Each applicant shall appear in person at the Office of the Sheriff of St. Martin Parish during regular business hours and shall present a medical certificate from the Health Unit stating that the applicant does not have any communicable disease and documentary evidence of age. The applicant will be photographed and fingerprinted at that time. This must be done prior to beginning of employment.
