5 th Annual Utah Sleep Society Conference Intermountain Medical Center Murray, Utah Friday, January 23, 2015 Course Director: Kevin A. Walker, MD Purpose This educational activity will provide an opportunity for local sleep physicians, technologists, and registered nurses to meet as a collaborative group in an educational environment. They will experience didactic presentations by local sleep leaders as well as small group educational sessions. Objectives Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to: Describe the relationship between stroke and OSA Review the non-surgical options to treat obesity in conjunction with sleep disordered breathing Discuss how to titrate pap patients Explain the government guidelines for prescribing O2 Summarize the surgical options for OSA Target Audience: Sleep physicians, primary care physicians, primary care physician extenders, pulmonologists, sleep fellows, sleep technologists, sleep lab managers, respiratory therapists, and registered nurses
