B CLINICAL WORK Psychosocial Support and Rehabilitation of individuals both adults and children with psychiatric disorders at Mathari and Kenyatta National Hospitals. This involves report writing including court reports, counseling, provision of supportive therapy, Provision of practical help i.e. environmental manipulation, advocacy and lobbying on behalf of the patients. C COMMUNITY WORK Provision of after care services to patients discharged back into the community, Community Education on Mental Health (creating awareness), Resettlement of patients back into the community. D - ADMINISTRATION Administrative duties include: Coordination of behavioural sciences, Postgraduate Diploma in psychiatric social work courses, MSc.
