In addition a 6 to 8 page term paper in which students must compare and contrast psychological concepts is assigned. With the completion of ENGL C70 students can read at a transfer level and write 5-10 page papers appropriate for first year courses with fully developed citation skills referencing university-level sources. 24. Psychology term paper Example: Write a five to six page term paper written in APA format on a topic in general psychology approved by the instructor. Suggested broad topics for term papers could include but not limited to sensation, perception, sleep and dreaming, development, emotion, motivation, learning, memory, intelligence, language, stress and health, gender, sexuality, conformity, and authority. C. View assigned videos from the Online Learning Resource Center (Films on Demand) that corresponds with weekly lectures. Examples: When covering the Piaget s cognitive development assign film clips that demonstrate the concepts of object permanence and conservation. Be ready to discuss these cognitive developments in class. When covering gender and sexuality have students view the film: Me, My Sex and I and write a 1 page reaction paper discussing the continuum of sexuality and gender.
