FIRST-AID MEASURES Routes of Exposure Eye Skin Inhalation Ingestion Most important symptoms of exposure First Aid Instructions Flush eyes with large quantities of water, holding the eyelids apart. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation develops. Remove and launder clothing before re-use. Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult have qualified personnel administer oxygen. Get medical attention if irritation persists. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and give one glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious or drowsy person. Get medical attention. May cause eye irritation. Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Inhalation of mist may cause mucous membrane and respiratory irritation. Note to Physicians (Treatment, Testing, and Monitoring): Treat symptomatically. Immediate medical attention is not required. 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use media appropriate for surrounding fire. Fire Fighting Procedures: Specific Hazards Arising from the Chemical: Precautions for Fire Fighters: Cool fire exposed containers and structures with water. Decomposition may release oxides of carbon and sulfur, aldehydes and acrolein. Firefighters should wear full emergency equipment and approved positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus. Recommended Protective Equipment for Fire Fighters: EYES/FACE HANDS RESPIRATORY THERMAL 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal Precautions, PPE and Emergency Procedures: Evacuate spill area and keep unprotected personnel away. Ventilate area. Wear appropriate protective clothing as described in Section 8. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Environmental Precautions: Prevent entry into sewers and waterways. Consult local authorities regarding requirements. Polyflex Duplicating Material Page 2 of 8

Methods and Materials for Containment and Clean-up: Contain and collect using an inert absorbent material and place in appropriate containers for disposal. Rinse spill area with water. Recommended Personal Protective Equipment for Containment and Clean-up: EYES/FACE HANDS RESPIRATORY SKIN 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Precautions for Safe Handing: Avoid contact with the eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing mists. Wear protective clothing and equipment as described in Section 8. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Keep containers closed when not in use. Empty containers retain product residues and can be hazardous.
