` Peer Recovery Support Specialist / Youth Recovery Center Peer Recovery Support Specialist works with young people who participate in after school services, providing individual and group recovery coaching, and facilitating activities and events. This staff member is responsible to help maintain a positive community environment, in which youth and family members are able to develop recovery capital and learn about the recovery process. The Peer Recovery Support Specialist will provide skills training and will assist with resource development. Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday noon 8 pm. Peer Recovery Support Specialist / Anchor ED Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides on-call recovery coaching to patients in the Emergency Departments of RI hospitals. This staff member is responsible to work collaboratively with hospital staff and to provide education and support to family members, as requested. Peer Recovery Support Specialist, MORE (Mobile Outreach Team) The Peer Recovery Support Specialist works with people who participate in Anchor Recovery Community Center services, providing individual and group recovery coaching, and helping with activities. This staff member is responsible to help maintain a positive community environment, in which Anchor members are able to develop recovery capital and learn about the recovery process. Full-time, Monday through Friday. Manager of Anchor Warwick Recovery Center / Staff Trainer This staff member will manage the daily operations of the Warwick Recovery Community Center; and support/ supervise the onsite Peer Recovery Coaching staff. Manager will oversee scheduling for daily recovery support activities, and will promote these services through community outreach and educational forums. Other duties include coordination of staff training and conducting training presentations. Full-time, Monday through Friday Minimum of 5 years experience working in a recovery support setting, with supervisory experience Must be experienced trainer with positive communication skills 5
BA or higher preferred. Knowledge of national trends in recovery advocacy and recovery support services. Prior supervisory experience and computer experience required. Must have experience as a trainer and demonstrate positive communication skills, in spoken and written forms. RI State certified Recovery Coach or plan to complete this within first year.
