WELCOME ADDRESS Dear friends and colleagues, In 2016, SECEC will once again organize an international elbow course. We would like to invite you to join us in this exciting event. It will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from September 22 to 24, 2016. You will have the unique opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced elbow surgeons in the world. The course will be oriented both to young surgeons who want to become confident with basic elbow problems and surgical techniques, but also to the most experienced ones, with special focus in scientific and practical discussions on the hottest topics on elbow surgery. The historic city of Antwerp is located centrally in Flanders, Belgium and is easily accessible from any country in Europe. It is the birthplace of Rubens and famous for both its chocolates and beautiful diamonds. Antwerp has a small international airport and a large railway station with high speed train connections to many European cities. The international Brussels airport is located at about 30 minutes by train or car. The venue will be the Hilton Old Town Hotel, in the center of town, facing the famous Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe cathedral. The hotel has 210 luxury guest rooms, which will be available to our participants at a reduced price, and offers excellent meeting facilities, including the Belle Epoque Ballroom, where the lectures will take place. Hope to see you all in Antwerp. Denise Eygendaal Roger van Riet 5
