Help and Hope in Life s Hardest Places Compassionate, empowering solutions to the problems that hold you back to the you back

Where Can I turn? When you or someone you love is in crisis, sometimes it s hard to find a trusted friend to walk alongside you a helper who s been there and understands, but who also has the training and skill to offer practical help.

NEW LIFE MINISTRIES EXISTS TO GO INTO LIFE S HARDEST PLACES with you.

No OneUnderstands. Family, friends, and churches want to help but are not always equipped to care for those dealing with problems like addiction, pornography, infidelity, and emotional/relational issues.

New Life combines a deep commitment to biblical truth with the best in psychological knowledge. We firmly believe that applying proven techniques for emotional, physical, and spiritual health is in accordance with God s call to live in wholeness and redemptive relationships. And we re not afraid to share our own struggles, because we re all on this journey together. But New Life isn t focused on making people feel better. We re focused on helping people do the hard work that will actually help them be better. That s what true healing means. We take people out of the isolation caused by trauma and sin, and help them find the path and the process to a right relationship with God.

I Can t Talk About It. In recent surveys conducted by the Barna Group (a Christian polling firm), 79% of men ages 18-30 REPORTED VIEWING PORN at least once a month The National Council on Sexual Addiction estimates 18-24 million Americans ARE SEX ADDICTS

For decades, seeking counseling has come with a stigma. Millions of people have suffered in silence, afraid to ask for help. In just one year, an estimated 16.1 million adults aged 18 or older in the United States HAD AT LEAST ONE MAJOR DEPRESSIVE EPISODE in the past year. This number represented 6.7% of all U.S. adults Despite the fact that the success rate for treatment of mental illness is as high as 80% in certain disorders, MANY PEOPLE WILL AVOID SEEKING HELP for fear of being labeled as crazy 50% of all American children WILL SEE THEIR PARENTS DIVORCE, and 50% of those children will see their parents go through a second divorce The Centers for Disease Control National Center for Health Statistics reports more than 1/3 of U.S. ADULTS ARE OBESE

There Is Hope.

NEW LIFE MINISTRIES carefully brings difficult issues out into the open. Through our live call-in radio and TV broadcasts, New Life Live!, and Weekend Workshops, we provide practical wisdom and help people see that they are not alone. And by connecting people to a professional in our New Life Counselor Network, we re helping many find the intensive support they need. IN ONE YEAR: 2 million people listen weekly to New Life Live! 60,000 people contact us seeking help 11,000 people receive our daily email devotion 25,000 New Life resources are purchased 1,400 people are connected to a counselor through our New Life Counselor Network 600 people are active in our weekly phone coaching program 1,900 people attend one of our Weekend Workshops or conferences

Where Do I Go from Here?

Although New Life has helped thousands of people, millions more are still trapped in relationship and marital struggles, addictions, anxiety, anger, fear, depression, and hurt from their past. They are missing what God desires for their lives, and the impact is felt in their families, churches, communities, and workplaces. For many radio listeners, New Life Live! may be the only practical, Christian help they ever receive. WITH YOUR PARTNERSHIP WE CAN: Increase the number of radio listeners by 10% annually Grow the number of people who receive help through counseling and follow-up coaching by 15% annually Raise $6 million for general support of the ministry Raise $250,000 annually in workshop scholarship funds for those who can t otherwise afford to attend Increase the number of people who attend New Life Weekend Workshops by 20%

Vicki, a radio listener Resources At newlife.com, anyone in need of help can find broadcast archives, resources mentioned during the broadcasts, and our store filled with books, DVDs, CDs, and more. Counselor Network New Life connects people to carefully screened counselors who agree with our statement of faith. These professionals can help with a wide range of needs.

Before coming this weekend, we were separated. We have three little boys. I was caring for them on my own. He was angry and I was done. Intimacy did not exist. This weekend has been surprising, to say the least. I realized what I was doing: making him out to be all bad and letting the pain I experienced overwhelm me. I ve actually connected with my husband in a way I didn t think was possible. I thought we were done, but after 10 years we ve only just begun. Intimacy in Marriage Weekend Workshop participant
