08 Quality management ISO 9001 - our standard Sustainably successful companies know the needs of their customers. you meet requirements because you control your process- es and ensure quality. More than one million certified companies worldwide use the recognised standard DIN EN ISO 9001 as an instrument for management of their company and strengthen their competitiveness in the competition, as has been proven. This standard provides internationally valid demands for management systems concerning the quality of production and service. End of December 2009, the number of ISO - certificates increased according to the ISO Survey 2008 worldwide by 3.3%, in Germany even above average by 7%. With a share of more than 80% of the sites certified in 2010, DIN EN ISO 9001 remains the mainstay of the business. Sustainability also has a social component OHSAS 18001 The social dimension of the sustainability idea is becoming increasingly important. While in the developed OSH management systems, such as OHSAS 18001,are making their mark in the developed nations to reduce the number of accidents and promote the health of employees, their compliance in the threshold and development countries is still in its infancy. 28% qu.no/kpqm staffcertification 44% ISO 9001 09 Consumers show themselves to be increasingly sensitised and ask not only for quality and environmentally friendly production, but also about the conditions under which a product is created. 10 Certification in cooperation with specialist associations More than 2,170 associations were officially registered with the German Bundestag at the beginning of March 2011. Their task is to represent the interests of their members before State institutions, towards the public and partly also in design processes of the legislative procedures. An important task is also to bundle and to update the knowledge of their members, to promote dialogue and to actively accompany the corresponding development of the profession. The quality management system is one of the topics that have also gained importance in associations over the past ten years. The paths that are taken for this are ranging from the demanding or recommendation by associations of already established standards such as DIN EN ISO 9001 to the development of own quality concepts and their auditing by independent third parties. Diabetes quality management (DQM) As early as 2005, 3cert GmbH has developed DQM (diabetes quality management), a certification system specifically tailored to diabetologic practices, which is confirmed by DDG (German Diabetes Society) with the awarding of the certificate "Diabetes mellitus type 1" or "diabetes mellitus type 2".
Quality seal Geriatrics The introduction and development of institution-internal QM Systems is an obligation of the legislator, which was anchored in sections 135 and 137 SGB V and was substantiated by the agreement pursuant to section 137 subsection 1 sentence 3 No. 1 SGB V on the basic requirements for an institution-internal quality management for hospitals of the German Federal Joint Committee licensed according to 108 SGB V. The basis for an applicable QM Model should be the principle of comprehensive quality management. This principle includes the elements: Patient orientation Responsibility and leadership Economic efficiency Process orientation Employee orientation and participation Goal orientation and flexibility Error prevention and dealing with errors Continuous improvement process The independent and complete certificationprocedure "quality seal Geriatics for acute facilities" fully takes into account these required quality elements. Based on the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 and- using a CrossReference the specific demands on the acute geriatric care and more sector-specific requirements for a quality management system are being considered. For the obtaining the quality seal geriatric for acute facilities proof of an internal qualitysystem based on DIN EN ISO 9001requirements, and meeting the requirements of acute Geriatrics, is required. The certification includes the standards criteria and in - particular the geriatric-specific requirements of acute geriatric care.
12 age related traumatology Centres (ATZ) Due to demographic change, the age structure of the population in Germany is also changing to a considerable extent. This must be considered in the future medical care and the latter must adapt to the developments. For the care of elderly and very old patients, Geriatrics and / or geriatric specialist departments have over the past 20 years been able to provide nationwide specialized care structures in hospitals. The focus is therefore on the cooperation of geriatrics and trauma surgery with their specific processes, ie the mutual orientation of the respective working methods to the requirements of an optimal care for this particular patient group. Through the harmonized cooperation between trauma surgery and geriatrics, the ATZ has a special competence in the earliest possible and also prospective interdisciplinary perception of complications and risks.
Personnel certification DIN EN 15224 13 Qualification with quality 3cert certification for people with a basic qualification (training in healthcare, nursing, service provider or engineering sector) is an additional qualification recognized across Europe, which increases the "market value" of an employee and strengthens his position in the company. 3cert GmbH, as an approved personnel certifier for quality management representatives (QMM), quality managers (QM) and quality auditors (QA), has registered a significant increase in demand as a result of the development of the so-called economic stimulus package II. Services in the health-care - quality management systems With DIN EN 15224:2012, a specific management system standard as a basis for certification for healthcare organizations is available for the first time. The construction and structure of the standard are derived from DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 and the process-oriented approach is suitable for a variety of organization forms in the health care system. This is supported by the alignment of the requirements and textual version of the standard. After elaboration of the DAkkS accreditation rules, we will be accredited in the summer of 2014 according to the specifications.
14 Future market for health care and social services Challenges of the future sector By 2050 there will be twice as many 60-yearolds as newborns in Germany, and the number of people over 80 will triple (Federal Statistical Office). These projections show: There are enormous challenges for healthcare and social services. An increasing number of facilities are already facing this problem by reacting with a quality management system - the legislator creates the basic framework conditions for this. According to Article 20 para. 2 SGB IX, providers of inpatient services for medical rehabilitation have to ensure an in-house quality management within a period of three years, starting from 1 October 2009. The quality management is to ensure and continuously improve the quality of rehabilitation services provision through targeted and systematic procedures and measures. With its approval for BAR (Confederation of German Workers' Rehabilitation), 3cert GmbH supports its customers in the fulfillment of these requirements.
15 The success of 3cert GmbH is the sum of the success of its employees. In the service sector, people are one of the most important success factors of anenterprise. Without the expertise and the dedication of staff and auditors of the 3cert GmbH, without their ideas, problem solution and customer orientation, without their team spirit and motivation, ten years of success history could not have taken place. The extremely low turnover rate of less than 3% and the average length of service to the enterprise show the high level of identification of employees with the company. More than 60% of the employees of the first hour are still working in the company today. The extremely high standard evaluations of the 3cert auditors for many years were also continued in the anniversary year. With a comprehensive program ranging from product and IT training to multi-level English courses, 3cert GmbH invests in the training of its employees and auditors.
