PEERS & CONSUMERS FORUM Teachers Federation Conference Centre 37 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010 5-6 September 2018
CEO S WELCOME
When we first started developing this conference, we wanted to create a space for actively engaging in conversations on the health and human rights of people whose life journey involves drugs, including alcohol. We think we have done that. Our desire is full participation, wherever we come from. Let s engage in meaningful dialogue, rather than just as a member of the audience or a presenter. We want this conference to be a start of ongoing work towards changes that empower the lives of people like us. For over 30 years we have led the way in generating change; taking action and promoting the health of those that use or have used drugs it s what we do. NUAA is first and foremost about people. People lie at the heart of our work. I feel privileged to be a part of this conversation, forging valuable new connections and cementing lasting relationships. Love to see you there, with us. Dr. Mary Harrod, CEO
