Blocking Core Beliefs Negative Thoughts & Beliefs Law of Belief Short Description of EFT EFT is a new relaxing and calming technique that modifies the anxiety responses, fosters body awareness, and enable positive cognitive shifts. EFT is a mixture of good cognitive psychotherapy and the utilization of acupuncture points without the needles. Gary Craig discovered that while tapping on certain meridian points working from a top down technique while speaking out negative and positive cognitions that emotional energy shifted. Distorted Perception The cause of all negative emotions is the result of a disruption in the body s energy system Negative thoughts create a distortion or a zzzt in our energy system which causes the physical and/or emotional response. Basic Recipe of EFT Process is easy and takes about one minute to complete Four Basic Ingredients Set up Sequence 9 Gamut Repeat the sequence Where Are You Now? Determine an Intensity level 10= worst ever On a scale of 0 to 10 0= no longer a problem 1

Eyebrow (EB) Chin (CH) Side of Eye (SE) Collarbone (CB) Under Eye (UE) Under Arm (UA) Under Nose (UN) Head (H) Determine the SUD s rating Repeat SET-UP: While tapping karate chop point, repeat the REVISED AFFIRMATION: *Even though I STILL.., I deeply and completely accept myself.* Tap all of the points again, repeating the REVISED REMINDER PHRASE, *remaining.* Re-Assess the SUD s rating again. Repeat if necessary. Change to other ASPECTS. The Brain Balancer The 9-GAMUT Technique While tapping continuously on the GAMUT SPOT, complete the following: 1. Close eyes 2. Open eyes 3. Keeping head straight, look down right 4. Keeping head straight, look down left 5. Whirl eyes in a circular motion (clockwise) 6. Whirl eyes counter clockwise 7. Hum a few bars of any tune 8. Count out loud from 1-5 9. Hum again. 4

EMOTIONS (and their vibrations) If you want to increase your abundance, focus on the following emotions. Joy Love Passion Bliss Delight Ecstasy Appreciation Gratitude If you want to decrease your abundance, focus on the following emotions. Fear Helplessness Resentment Irritation Jealousy Envy Hatred 4 STEPS TO INCREASING YOUR LEVEL OF SUCCESS AND ABUNDANCE 1. CLEAR LIMITING BLOCKS TO SUCCESS 2. BUILD YOUR PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS 3. ACTIVATE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION 4. CLAIM ABUNDANCE STEP 1 REMOVE THE RESISTANCE TO YOUR SUCCESS You may really want more financial success in your life, but if you have conflicts and are struggling with mind-blocks to reaching that success, you will always be waiting and never arriving. Do you sabotage yourself just as you become aware of your success? Do you ever feel guilty because you have more than others? Are you afraid of their reactions if you become wealthy? Do you see wealthy people as greedy, lucky, or unfair? 6

What specific events triggered these feelings? EFT SUGGESTIONS Gratitude Exercises Even though I m not allowed to have more, I choose to receive guidance now. Even though I m not allowed to have more than they have, I accept all of me. Even though I m selfish to want more, I embrace and love my desires. Even though I feel guilty for all that I have, I choose to remember there is enough. AFFIRMATION Thank you, thank you, thank you I intend to feel successful and safe I love feeling connected to my Source STEP 2 BUILDING YOUR PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS Our consciousness is reflected in our outside world of financial success, material comforts, bodily health, and relationships. If your consciousness is one of SCARCITY, you will find that finances (or good relationships) are lacking in your life. Build your wealth/prosperity consciousness from the inside and watch your life change on the outside. Do you feel afraid that there won t be enough later? Are you afraid your supply (of money, food, resources) will run out? Do you find yourself hoarding things in case of an emergency? What specific events are connected to these attitudes/beliefs? EFT SUGGESTIONS The Thank You Game Even though I m afraid there won t be enough, I deeply accept all there is. Even though I need more now, I choose to feel secure. 7

Even though it s not safe to use too much, I choose abundance now. Even though I need to save more, I choose to remember there is enough. AFFIRMATION There is enough/ There will be enough I believe in prosperity I AM ENOUGH I appreciate receiving guidance in my life STEP 3 BECOMING A MAGNET TO ABUNDANCE Actually, the LAW of ATTRACTION is always activated in your life. Whatever you focus on, you will attract into your life. Notice what you focus on, talk about, write emails about Do you worry all the time about your expenses? Do you feel certain your life will be much better if / when you have more money? Are you convinced you can t be happy until the bills are paid, or until Are you constantly complaining about how few good men (or good women) there are in your town? Are you focused on the ailments typically within your age group? EFT SUGGESTIONS The Take Five Game Even though I can t be happy until I have more money, I feel blissful today. Even though there isn t enough now, I am complete already. Even though I m anxious about money all the time, I choose prosperity now. Even though I don t believe I can be wealthy and happy, I vibrate health now. 8

AFFIRMATION I intend to feel successful I feel grateful for the love I have and receive I attract vibrant health now I love feeling so well connected to guidance I choose to appreciate my life STEP 4 TAKING POSSESSION OF YOUR ABUNDANCE Many people are afraid to own or claim the abundance that is waiting for them. They suddenly feel shy when offered an amazing opportunity, or don t know how to close the deal. Abundance is available to all of us. But we must activate our positive intentions to claim it or it will slip away. Do you have trouble believing you can have what you want? Do you feel you don t deserve abundance or wealth? Do you sabotage your success right before you reach the finish line? What specific events are connected to these limits? 1. MAKE THE BEST of every situation. PROSPERITY PRESCRIPTION 2. LOOK FOR and FOCUS ON any thoughts that feel better. 3. Mind your own business. 4. Act from INSPIRATION. 5. THANK God, others, even yourself 6. Express genuine GRATITUDE and APPRECIATION every day. 7. Count your BLESSINGS. 8. EXPECT your desires and dreams to work out. 9

9. BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY. 10. CLAIM SUCCESS NOW. 11. INTEND success. 12. USE EFT every day. Frequently Asked Questions Does it matter which hand? NO Can I switch hands while tapping? YES Can I tap with both hands? YES How many taps on each spot? 7 is most common but sometimes more is better. Is the SET UP essential? Not always, but necessary in cases of Reversal. Will EFT take away natural (and healthy) emotional responses to situations? NO How long do treatment results last? Often forever. Untreated aspects can make it appear like it comes back. Does this treatment need to be repeated? Sometimes on a different aspect, but if it worked once, it usually works when repeated. Can you use alternate taps like in EMDR? YES Do I have to believe in the treatment for it to work? NO, NO, and NO!!! So I use the same EFT process for every issue? YES, you do modify the set up phrases. FOR RESULTS THAT ARE TERRIFIC, IT S BEST TO BE SPECIFIC! 10

What Are You Thinking? Listen to the thoughts that come from your soul. Are they negative? You ll never embark on the road to riches if you let such thoughts constrain you. The Nattering Nabobs of Negativism (Robert Kiyosaki) A well-known figure in the political world once coined the phrase nattering nabobs of negativism to refer to habitual naysayers. People will conjure up any number of excuses not to choose wealth, excuses that say more about their inner thoughts than about the difficulty of achieving wealth. Are you a nattering nabob of negativism? Take a look at these, and see if any sound familiar: I tried that before. It ll never work. I don t need to know how to read financial statements. I can get by. I m not smart enough. My husband would never go for it. What would my friends say? I m young. I ve still got time. It s too late for me. You can t do that. My wife would never understand. Sometimes we let negative statements play over and over in our minds like endless mantras. Once you know the truth beneath your negative statements, talk back to them using EFT. Think of ways to counter each one in EFT, course of daily or event action. Don t let buried thoughts sap your energy and motivation. Unearth them, and free yourself to move forward. 11

Nurture Your Better Self Now that you ve removed the mines blocking your path, consider the positive traits that will propel you forward on your quest for financial freedom. Here are some strengths that are common to people who succeed in business and investing: Vision - the ability to see what others do not see Courage - the ability to act despite fear Creativity - the ability to think outside the box Self-confidence - the ability to withstand criticism Self-control - the ability to delay gratification Look at people around you who demonstrate these strengths. Try to emulate them. And don t forget to look within. Are there areas in your life where you ve exhibited such traits? Nurture them using EFT and allow them to spread into your financial life. A Risk Self-Assessment Before you reach that point, it s helpful to get a sense of your overall risk tolerance. No matter what you do in your financial life, there is always the possibility of losing some money. How comfortable are you with this possibility? The following questions are meant to get you thinking about your general attitude toward risk: Do you get bored easily? Are you usually looking for a new challenge, or do you like to stick with what you know? Do you feel confident that you can handle whatever comes your way, or do you tend to worry? When you lose something valuable, do you get anxious and obsess about it, or are you able to accept the loss and move on? How easily can you turn important matters over to others? Do you trust experts to act on your behalf, or do you prefer to handle everything yourself? 12

The primary difference between rich people and poor people is how they handle fear. Overcome The Six Obstacles Certain personal obstacles can prevent even the most financially literate from developing abundant wealth. Despite all their knowledge, they ll continue working full time just to pay the bills instead of living the life they dream. By learning to recognize these personal obstacles, you can overcome them. What are they?...fear Cynicism Laziness Bad habits Arrogance Disappointment Obstacle 1: Fear Fear of losing money is the main reason 90% of the American public struggles financially. But fear isn t the real problem. It s how people handle fear that matters. Rich Dad used to tell me that the primary difference between rich people and poor people is how they handle the fear of losing money. Some people, when hit with financial loss, give up. Others transform the loss into a win. As John D. Rockefeller said, I always tried to turn every disaster into an opportunity. Losers are defeated by failure. Winners are inspired by it. Obstacle 2: Cynicism All of us have a little Chicken Little in us. You remember Chicken Little - the character in the children s fable who ran around the barnyard warning other animals that the sky was falling. Chicken Little had a doom and gloom attitude toward life. He was a classic cynic. Obstacle 3: Laziness Busy people are often the laziest. Busyness is a form of avoidance. If you stay busy you can avoid some of the things you don t want to face - like exercising, or taking care of your wealth. What s the cure for laziness? A little greed. Wait a minute, you say. Isn t greed bad? Too much of it, yes. An excess of anything is bad. The fact is, however, that all of us secretly harbor a desire to have new or exciting things. We ve been told by our parents and others to suppress that desire. We ve been made to feel guilty about it. how many children have asked a parent for something and gotten the response, Do you think I m made of money? In truth, guilt is worse than greed. Guilt stifles dreams. The words I can t afford it close your mind, while the words, How can I afford it? open your mind. The human spirit is powerful - it knows it can do anything. 13

Obstacle 4: Bad Habits When you pay your bills at the first of the month, do you have anything left over? Probably not. If so, that s the main reason you re struggling financially - you have bad habits. The worst financial habit is paying your creditors before you pay yourself. That doesn t mean you shouldn t pay your bills on time. What it does mean is that you should pay yourself first - even it you re short of money. Obstacle 5: Arrogance Arrogance is an insecure ego plus ignorance. The ignorance is hidden behind the ego. Many people try to bluster their way through financial discussions when they don t know what they re talking about. They re not lying, but they re not telling the truth either. The world of finance is full of people who don t know what they are talking about. Obstacle 6: Disappointment Do you react with disappointment when things don t go as you d hoped? When things go wrong people want to blame their failure on the economy, the product they are selling, or even the customers. Learn a priceless lesson: how to turn disappointment into an asset rather than a liability! I should have known I would fail - these are the words of people who have let disappointment stop them from learning. As you get ready to embark on your journey to financial freedom, I offer you the same advice, Prepare yourself for disappointment. Why? Because if you re prepared for disappointment, you have a chance of turning disappointment into an asset. If you are prepared, you won t beat up on yourself too hard. If you can face your failures, control your emotions, and use disappointment to learn new financial skills, you ll flourish. -Robert Kiyosaki No matter what the problem is with your practice Will You Think Rich or Think Poor? It s about your vibration (core beliefs, thoughts, emotions, etc.) What is your core belief/vibration? Limiting Beliefs I don t know how I m not worthy If I am rich than others will think that I am a crook Life has to be a struggle I don t have enough time I ll have to take care of others Too many sacrifices 14

Eradicating Your Limiting Beliefs and Changing Your Habits Will Change Your Core Beliefs/Vibration Pray/Meditation Gratitude Practices (journal, lists, walk, etc.) Declaration Exercise EFT several times daily Mindfulness - being present with yourself and in the moment Therapist & Practice Make a list of your limiting beliefs concerning yourself and your success Identify the top 3 Make a list of all the reasons why you want to be successful in your practice - an abundance list Begin doing EFT on the top 3 limiting beliefs for at least 10 mins. 2x daily Do EFT on your top 3 abundance list daily After each session or after your day do EFT on the stuff that came up during your session(s) with your clients to clear up any issues that were triggered. SPECIAL NOTE Resentment = closed door Gratitude = open door Don t resist and become upset that you have negative feelings recognize and approach them. FEEL THE FEELINGS AND THEY GO, PUSH THEM AWAY THEY STAY 15
