Chair: Good evening. I attended the last Events Committee Meeting at St. Benedict s for the Spring Fling and it seems that they have everything in place. I m looking forward to the picnic. I had the pleasure of being the guest speaker at the Freedom House Groups 9 th Anniversary. A special thank you to Steve N. for the invite and the gift of a 2 nd Edition Big Book. It was a wonderful meeting. Yours in service, Dean B. Chair Report: Thank you for allowing me to serve. This past month I was pleased to attend the quarterly Area 14 Assembly in Gainesville where I attended the Area officers workshop, the Intergroup Workshop on Hot lines and 12 step calls, the Website Committee Meeting and the general Assembly Business Meeting. The Intergroup workshop included a 12 step call brochure, AA Guidelines for answering services, Man on the bed brochure, Chapter 7 of the Big Book, and a Bridging the Gap information session and participated in a role play of 12 step calls facilitated by Dan E., past-delegate. We also reviewed what should be included in a Hotline reference book which was partially based upon Nature Coast Intergroup's Hotline notebook. I will be forwarding the complete packet handed out at the session to Hotline chair John H.

I introduced some concerned ladies to the Treatment and Corrections chairs of area so they could work with setting up a transition program for Oasis in Citrus county and thank their group for their service. I worked to determine what aspects of the Nature Coast Intergroup brochure would need to be changed and will present that information at the meeting today under old business. I thank all of the volunteers showing up for the events committee meetings and am looking forward to events in the future. Thank you again for allowing me to serve you as Intergroup Chairperson, Steve N Old Business: NCI Brochure for Revision and Publication: Much discussion followed. Mock up will be available at the next meeting in June for editing and approval. Motion to print 1000 black and white, glossy 3 fold, and seconded. Unanimous support. 1000 black & white @ $110 Sober Sand Gnats: First Tuesday of each month: Fellowship and Potluck at 6:30 pm with meeting to follow at 7:00 pm New Business: Rick T. spoke regarding disposition of materials etc at the storage facility. Need to naintain a property list of items in the storage and add any acquired items. (eg. the used grill donated) Clarification: When intergroup and district do events together which are only the Gratitude Dinner and Founders Day Brunch, District is not a financial partner but is a spiritual partner in accordance with the Traditions and Concepts of these events. Other social events are strictly sponsored by Nature Coast Intergroup. Motion to Close: 5:30 PM unanimously accepted. Closing Prayer. Lorraine Taft, grateful to serve as Secretary
