July 2012 present- Working as a Head & Neck Reconstructive Microsurgeon in Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai in South India in the Dept of Surgical Oncology. This Cancer hospital is one of the oldest cancer hospitals in Asia and is the first in the world to start exclusive Oncology teaching programs for MCh in Surgical Oncology. Every year more than 100,000 cancer patients visit this teaching hospital. The Head and Neck department alone does an average of around 600 Head And Neck oncology procedures every year. This includes head and neck and craniofacial resections, neck dissections, thyroidectomies, laryngectomies and esophagectomies and microvascular reconstructions. I do mostly microsurgical reconstruction in head and neck cancer patients following ablative surgery and also endoscopic reviews for oral cancer patients.

Was undergoing Advanced fellowship training in Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery In Peking University School of Stomatology In Beijing. The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology is one of the biggest and earliest oral and maxillofacial surgery departments in China. This University being the number one in china performs around 2400 head and neck oncology operations including 250-300 free flaps reconstructions every year. As my special interest was microvascular reconstruction I had the opportunity to assist and later on was given a free hand in raising free flaps and performing microvascular anasthamosis by myself. I got competence in raising radial forearm flaps, fibula and ALT flaps and also flap insetting and monitoring. During my one year of fellowship I was able to take part in around 70 free flap reconstructions. 3. 2008-20010.
