ABOUT THE MEETING This symposium is designed to provide an update on a variety of new cutting edge developments in diagnostic imaging and intervention. Topics include new techniques and practical applications of MRI and CT. Emphasis of this meeting is on the practical clinical uses of new technologies. members have been selected for their teaching ability, as well as their expertise. TARGET AUDIENCE This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who perform and interpret imaging examinations. The content will be beneficial to Neurologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians and General Practitioners who order or integrate imaging information into practice management. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to: Discuss new cutting edge applications of MR and CT imaging. Compare the use of CT and MRI in the evaluation of various musculoskeletal, body and cardiovascular applications. Integrate cutting edge technologies into the workup of neurological disease. Use MRI and CT in the workup of spine disease. Review safety updates for contrast use and radiation dose reduction. No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity. THE MEETING WEEK at Vail begins with your arrival on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Registration and a Super Bowl Party/Welcome Reception for attendees and their families on Sunday evening enable you to meet the faculty and your colleagues for the duration of the course. Formal lectures begin on Monday morning, with academic lectures scheduled Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 9:30 am and from 4:30 pm to 6:45 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 9:15 am. Daily breakfasts and afternoon après-ski breaks are provided for registered attendees and meal plan participants. The program is designed to provide ample time for instruction and questions, as well as sufficient time for the enjoyment of the many recreational activities of Vail and its surrounding areas. 2015 Educational Symposia
