Hearing protection can play a vital part in avoiding occupational hearing loss. Comfort and ease of use play a role as economical, practical noise protection that conforms to the local legislation is the priority. Hearing loss can be gradual because of exposure to noise over time, but damage can be caused suddenly by extremely loud noises.
