Employment History: OWNER/PRESIDENT, MEG BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, Belleair, FL. Founded in 2006, by Brian Gallagher, PT. After working for a few years with one of the largest consulting firms, Brian saw a need for what wasn t being delivered. As a result MEG quickly became known for its customized approach for handling the entire practices operations, not just one specific area. Brian operates more as an Executive Coach who works side by side with owners to assist them with their implementation, while they are gaining the business and personnel management principles throughout their training. Brian Gallagher started Cypress Creek Therapy Associates in 1999 after launching a successful therapy staffing company two years earlier. CCTA s several locations grew quickly to have a very large referral base of medical professionals and has expanded it s services to provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, and Personal Fitness Training to children and adults. Awarded Anne Arundel County s most family friendly business award several years running as determined by the Chesapeake Family magazine. With an emphasis on exemplary personnel management and creating the most family friendly business, Cypress Creek Therapy was selected as Practice of the Year by the APTA Advance Magazine for 2011. OWNER/CEO, GATEWAY HEALTH SERVICES, Severna Park, MD. Gateway Health Services was an employee staffing company started by Brian Gallagher in 1997, and grew to be one of the largest staffing companies in the state of Maryland, with more than 46 staffing contracts. Gateway s success was largely derived from it s vast diversification of professional services, across several healthcare markets. The management team successfully operated within skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospitals, assisted living facilities, outpatient rehabilitation centers, and physician offices. Started in 1992 as a Staff Therapist, Brian was quickly promoted to the Clinical Director until moving on to start Gateway Health Services, in 1997. Brian attended a vast number of continuing education courses, allowing him to become very skilled in a wide range of Physical Therapy techniques; specializing in Manual Physical Therapy. Brian also worked as the Company Trainer, assigned to train colleagues in physical therapy manual techniques. Brian quickly became very proficient in Home Health Care, Geriatrics, Outpatient Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Skilled Nursing Care, and Sports Medicine Physical Therapy with professional athletes, working as the team trainer for the Baltimore Ravens.
