WELCOME TO OUR MONTHLY NEWSLETTER Welcome to this March edition of the Red Homes Community. This is designed to keep you up to date with what is happening within the Red Homes Community. DEMENTIA MATTERING AWARD Red Homes would like to congratulate this month s winners of the Dementia Mattering Award. This award is awarded to the employee who shows outstanding work in the field of dementia in Mattering & Butterflying. Tracey Issott & Christian Ciobotaru from Red Rose won the award this month.

PANCAKE DAY Residents have been enjoying Pancake Day this month. They had a chance to flip their own pancakes, most were quite successful! Even Red Roofs manager, Trish, gave it a go.

Residents at Red Oaks have been busy this month, by creating homemade Bird Patties! Residents made the patties with activities coordinator, Margaret, and then hung them in the trees for the birds to find. FEED THE BIRDS!

VALENTINES Residents enjoyed Valentine s day this month with a number of activities within the homes. From baking, making Valentine s day cards, making decorations and raffles. Strawberries covered in chocolate!

DIGNI-TEA To celebrate Dignity Week all of our homes held digni-tea events. Red Roofs and Red Rose had the Mad Hatters Tea party theme! Whilst residents at Red Oaks were pampered with some hand massages, and enjoyed eating cream cakes.

Residents at Red Oaks were getting ready for Spring time this month with some flower arranging! SPRING TIME

HAPPY 60 TH WEDDING ANNIVERSAY Congratulations are in order for Derek & Freda Lambert at Red Roofs who celebrated their 60 th Wedding Anniversary on 2. Marilyn our cook at Red Roofs made a lovely cake which they enjoyed with their family. They even received their telegram from the Queen wishing them a Happy Anniversary.

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD Red Homes Healthcare Group is very pleased to announce that the new Manager for Red Rose Care Community is Sally Tebbett. Sally is a very experienced and knowledgeable manager and has previously worked for the Local Authority in several Senior Managerial roles, including inspection and we are delighted to welcome her to Red Rose.
